It does NOT have lots of room for people to chill or work on their laptops. While it has some veggie options it is not a vegetarian restaurant.It does have very high quality made diner food, small and intimate

My husband and I had breakfast here after coming across some other reviews for vegan options at this restaurant. We both enjoyed the food and found the portions to be generous. We ordered the Vegan Fry Up and the Vegan Tofu Scramble. Both of these were a more hearty breakfast, but I think they have a make-your-own breakfast option as well for something lighter. I liked how the organic tofu scramble incorporated avocado and other greens. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable on vegan options.

On a whim went here for breakfast. Our server was very nice and talkative. Found out its a family run business with the parents brothers and sisters. We ordered a few Bennie with pancakes as was told they were amazing. He talked the talk and they walked it. Everything was very good. The pancakes were very light and fluffy. The holindase was perfect. Eggs poached on point. My hashbrowns... Let me tell you. It's so hard these days to find a restaurant that can make the hash good. Usually places make em soggy wet or soaked in grease. They were perfect! My fiancee and I will be back.

This is a great little spot on commercial. Great ingredients and a loads of options for the gluten free and vegan folks.The service was exceptional. Our server was super attentive and dialed. Thanks Cafe du Soleil!

Came here with a dear friend today for brunch and we had a wonderful time. The staff really left a mark on us, everyone was so kind, friendly, and polite. The food was also good. My Fiancé and I went for a late breakfast today… I had the Truckers breakfast and she had the tofu scramble with a side order of banana pancakes….we also had coffee.. food was excellent as you can taste the quality of the ingredients… bacon, sausage and chorizo were delicious.Pancakes were crispy on the outside and fluffy and light on the inside. My gal loved her tofu scramble as well! Coffee was hot and rich and refills were plentiful. Service was great.. the Owner was our server and we had a wonderful conversation about his life experiences.. a very interesting and talented man!I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Food is great, love the eggs benny would have given them a 4/5 but their staff, plus their google says they’re open each day until 3pm yet u show up at 1:47pm so 1hr 13min before they close and they don’t take orders after 1:45pm. How about u change that u close at 2pm if u can’t go in after 145? May as well say u close at 8pm but don’t take orders after 145. We showed up at 1:47 already knowing what we wanted and said we could order right away but they said “sorry we don’t take orders after 145pm”. We left figuring showing up at least an hour before they close was enough time but apparently not for this place. Again food is great but change ur hours to reflect the times you’re actually open not the times u want people to think you’re open until. At least say on google or tell people on the phone u actually close an hour and 15min before it states! Went and ate at OEB instead which has better eggs benny but du soleil has better pancakes which u can have as a side at du soleil with ur main.
The wild boar chorizo benny and blueberry pancakes are out of this world. My partner has the vegan burrito and vegan sausages. The service was so friendly! This family run restaurant is a gem.Vegetarian options: A wonderful selection of vegetarian and vegan options!
