The coffee here was way too hot and burned my tongue. The milk foam was rough and uneven, with no proper texture. Very poor quality for the price — definitely not coming back.

Spacious cafe space with archery and good community of people and events. We came here because we saw that there were board games available and we stayed for 2 hours total. The board games available are good mix of beginner friendly games and complex games. There were plenty of drinks to choose from including caffeinated and non-caffeinated options such as smoothies. Food menu was a bit limited though with mostly baked goods and a small selection of heated foods. Cafe Duello is a great spot to hang out with friends or to take one of their available classes.

Very unique cafe. Stopped in just looking to grab a coffee to go and ended up staying for almost an hour playing board games (they have dozens on the shelf).

The coffee and pastries were terrible. It’s clear that the barista isn’t very experienced. On the bright side, the atmosphere is cool. I could see myself coming back to play games, but I’d have to bring my own coffee.

We came for board games and ended up staying for hours. The atmosphere is unique — there are actual suits of armor, medieval props, and even the soundtrack feels like you’re in a fantasy movie.
Right next door you can take fencing or archery classes — how cool is that?! It feels like stepping into another world where you can play, explore, and learn all in one place.
Neat coffee shop with a cool decor, board games and an archery/fencing training area.
Unfortunately, the cookie I had was sub par. The coffee also wasn't great, the mocha wasn't frothed well, chocolate tasted powdery and only had disposable cups.

Stopped in for a London fog and it was delicious! One of the best London fogs I’ve had in the city.
Great cafe with an awesome atmosphere and lots to explore. Moxie is the best barista in Vancouver
Came here for the first time tonight and will definitely return because of the amazing service. Moxie was extremely warm and friendly. She was very helpful and was running everything all by herself while maintaining a high level of customer service. Prices are very reasonable compared to other cafes and the vibe is really positive. Very unique and lots of board games in great condition. Would recommend this to anyone looking to try somewhere new. Again, the thing that stood out the most was Moxie’s energy
Very cool spot! Might come back for a class!

A very cool cafe next to the academy to learn sword play and such. A very good cappuccino. They have a selection of board games and you can read about the artifacts that are throughout the cafe and school.

Very cool cafe right next to Academy Duello. The staff was very friendly, let's us try out some armor and sword, and play with the axe toys.
