The restaurant closes at 4pm. I called in before and the staff said the kitchen closes at 3:30pm. We were there at 3pm. The waitress came our table at 3:06 and said we had 15mins. She reminded us twice. She came back 6 mins later at 3:10 pm with a stressed and pinched expression. As a dark skinned dark haired women I wondered how she would treat other customers in the same situation. A caucasian couple walked in after us and she was notably friendlier.
Cute little diner with friendly service. We had omelette and chorizo, turkey sausage and egg. I will check out their breakfast special next time... bonus: steps away from the beach!
I really wanted to like this place, but I didn't have a good experience. I dined alone here on Canada Day, looking forward to grabbing lunch and reading a book with my dog on a patio. I ordered lunch, a drink and a dessert. The food was mediocre. The worst part was that the chicken in the club sandwich tasted way off, like it had been sitting in the heat and had spoiled.
