Regarding the friday night parties.. calabash is ALWAYS A VIBE. Such a gem it’s a shame it was alil dead. Great music that far exceeds the basic mainstream pop played at other ‘clubs’ like portside. Real culture 🤌
Calabash is one of my top 3 in Vancouver. Special place. Amazing for a date night. Just cocktails, yep, add dinner, yumm, keep it going on the dance floor.. yeah. I was sad to see what has happened on the news. The last time I went, prior 2020, I realized the area is too dicey. I can't imagine what its like now.. :( I hope they will have a successful move. It's a real loss for downtown Vancouver.
The food here was absolutely delicious. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Authentic and the place is such a vibe. If you love Caribbean cuisine and get the chance to stop in it’s a must. Best thing I’ve eaten so far while visiting Van.
