One of the better BBQ Pork, Char Siew and Octopus in Vancouver. I haven't tried regular dishes as not the kind of places that I want beside the BBQ foods. Waitress is a little chaos as they really not too organized. Noisy joint so probably better just to takeaway.

Will not support business where there's witness of abuse of staff. The last time we went we overheard the BBQ chef yelling and insulting the waitress who served us. Calling her names and said the meanest thing in Chinese to her. Its very distressing seeing that kind of behaviour in a workplace. If they can't treat their staff right we will not support their business!

It’s a shame the dude that does the chopping is so racist. It really ruins this business. The bbq really is great. But if you’re not obviously asian, don’t bother. The chopper will make sure you get the leanest, most tough pieces.
This is after many visits over the last 2 years. I called him out before and his answer was. “Oh, chuckle , you caught me” haha.

(Cantonese BBQ Restaurant) is a solid go-to for classic Cantonese BBQ, but timing is everything here.
If you have your heart set on specific meats, definitely come early. I stopped by around 7:00 PM after work and they were already sold out of the soy chicken. We ended up ordering BBQ duck on rice, and it turned out to be the last order of it for the night.
One thing I really appreciate is that every meal comes with a bowl of hot soup, it’s a small touch that makes the whole experience feel extra comforting. While takeout is fine, I’d recommend dining in if you can. Everything just hits better fresh, warm duck with that glistening crispy skin is hard to beat. The roast pork is just as satisfying, and when you do catch the soy chicken, it’s juicy with that rich, buttery skin.
It’s not the cheapest BBQ spot out there, but it’s reasonably priced for the quality you get. Plus, there are those little moments that make it special, like the time they gave us a red bean dessert after our meal.
Overall, it’s a very homey spot that delivers comforting, reliable food. Definitely a go-to when you’re craving a quick, satisfying meal.

Very authentic Cantonese BBQ, but the service could be better. I ordered takeout once but changed my mind and wanted to have it dined in, yet they said I cannot. I don’t understand why I can’t just be given a seat and enjoy my food there simply because it’s in a takeout container.
