Cardero's Restaurant

Love the food. Loved the service and the server. But too noisy ambience, so it’s great for big get together but not for a romantic evening. Definitely try out their Cardero salmon. Not too fond of their mocktail. But do appreciate the cake they served us for our anniversary.

excellent service and lovely views as always, vancouver institution! however, my 7oz steak dish came with stale fries, and the broccolini and parmesan crusted tomato were almost cold. either way, the vibes and rest of the meal were joyous and sophia

Fantastic service!!

We had a wonderful lunch on the patio at Cardero’s. The food was excellent - particularly the seafood chowder, the squid and the fish + chips. The service was outstanding as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Overlooking the marina, amazing food amazing service. Wish we could stay longer. Highly recommended.😀

A few days ago, we went for lunch at your restaurant. As a local resident, I’ve visited many times before, but I’ve noticed a significant decline in quality recently. The food is no longer as good, and the cleanliness has become a major issue.

We were served water in dirty glasses, which we didn’t use, we had to also wipe our cutlery before eating. My partner ordered a beer, and the server poured it into a glass with visible lip gloss marks on it. When we pointed this out, the server simply wiped the rim with a rag and poured the rest of the beer into the same glass—an incredibly unhygienic and unprofessional response.

The restaurant was cold and uncomfortable to sit in, and despite the place being half-empty, it took about 40 minutes for our meal to arrive. On a previous visit, the steak we ordered was of very poor quality, full of veins, which was disappointing.

Additionally, I often see staff smoking or eating outside while wearing their work uniforms, which raises serious concerns about hygiene when they return to handle food.

I had planned a booking for my mom’s birthday in December, but after this experience, I will definitely be canceling it.

Please take these concerns seriously and train your staff to uphold proper hygiene and service standards. Serving food and drinks in dirty dishes is completely unacceptable, as is taking 40 minutes to serve a meal when the restaurant isn’t even busy. There’s significant room for imporovment

You know a place is good when you book a hotel to be near a restaurant. The food is amazing ( more than amazing). The staff just as amazing. And the beauty is you can be sitting near someone who has a 20 million pound yacht but the atmosphere is that relaxed and special you never would know. Can't recommend highly enough.

Food great. Location great. Unfortunately, we spent the night close to a table of loud and drunk men - but that is out of anyone's control. As far as the service, considering the level of the restaurant, we would have hoped for more, definitely.
