Wonderful staff and adorable cats! They really prioritize the health and wellness of the cats! Amazing care and it shows with every aspect of their business!
I enjoyed the time I had there and the cats were super friendly! Would definitely recommend for anyone who’s a cat person:)
so cute!!! 100% worth the commute. I don't mind the $18 entrance fee personally because it is supporting this awesome business n rescue cats :)
I’ve been a couple of times at Catoro Cafe already, and so far, the experience has been really nice!
The kitties are super cute, and the decoration of the Cat Forest is nice as well.
The ambience is pretty relaxed and comfy, the decoration is cute, so are the pictures with each of the cats with some of their descriptions, and I like the amount of toys available to play with them as well.
As for their drinks, I really like their Foggy Cat and their Catoro Milk Tea, and the toppings of Mango Stars, Tapioca Pearls and Crystal Jelly are very nice and sweet as well.
Even though there weren’t many many cats during the visits, I like that, since the space is good enough for the amount of kitties they’ve had the times I’ve been there, and also because Catoro is a rescue cat cafe, so I would rather see fewer cats inside if that means there are fewer or (hopefully) there aren’t any other stray cats searching for a safe place to stay until they find a home anymore.
The merch is super cute, and the cafe area outside the Cat Forest is pretty nice.
It was definitely a sweet experience, and would definitely recommend it!
Such a nice well run cat cafe. The cats are sooo cute and loving. Obviously some are shy too but to be expected. These cats needs lots of love and care since they mostly are rescues. The drinks are really nice and reasonably priced as well. I was even allowed to combine two into one. The place also clean and doesn't have any weird smells. Be sure to thank the staff (cats included) for providing a warm cuddly environment ☺️🙏🏽
I had a very disappointing experience at this storefront today. My 5-year-old child had forgotten to put her shoes on and instinctively opened the first set of doors to retrieve them before I could reach her. She is five years old and cannot read the signs posted on the doors.
Instead of calmly addressing the situation with me, the gentleman at the front yelled at my child and said that he would get the shoes and that nobody else would. The tone was unnecessarily harsh and intimidating toward a young child who simply made an innocent mistake.
I completely understand that businesses have rules, and I respect that. However, there is a respectful and appropriate way to communicate, especially when speaking to a small child. Families with multiple children are often managing a lot at once, and a little patience and understanding would go a long way.
The atmosphere became uncomfortable after the interaction, and I noticed a few other customers left shortly afterward. The way this was handled felt unprofessional and upsetting.
I hope management considers reminding staff that kindness, patience, and professionalism matter — especially when serving families.
This place is literally heaven on Earth. The cats are very well taken care of and you can notice that with how much love and trust they have for all the staff. They offer yummy bobas and cool merch too. Annah and Dan pour their hearts and souls into this and I never wanna see this business close. So please support as much as you can
Overpriced waste of time. Visitors outnumbered cats two to one. What a bizarre business plan.
Pleasant experience, but some groups can compete for the cats’ attention and/or tire them out. As a result, may not always be the most consistent experience, but understandable given the nature of cats.
Support this wonderful cat rescue society. Have a coffee or hot chocolate and play or maybe even adopt a cat.

A cafe that allows you to visit with the kitties who are up for adoption - who could ask for anything better? ❤️❤️
We love Catoro! The staff knows so much about each cat and their personality. The vibes in the cat room are so fun too!
Cataro Café is such a terrific experience!
I first went here to hang out with the kitties for an afternoon time-slot and that was delightful.
This evening I went to see the superb Oscar-winning movie 'Flow' and this was the second movie screening I've enjoyed there.
Having a half hour hanging around with the cats prior to the show, and with very many of these kitties roaming during the movie was delightful.
The opportunity to meet and interact with cats seeking new humans to share their lives is heartwarming!
My apartment is 'no pets', so Cataro Café lets me spend some time with many different cats.
There are plenty of fun cat-themed items for sale and the staff are all so friendly!
I made a reservation before going.
The atmosphere was calm, and spending time with the cats was very relaxing.
The 50 minutes went by so fast, but I was satisfied because I could play with the cats using toys and pet them.
Such a fun and cozy place to go, the staff is super nice and helpful and I always have a great experience here! It’s one of my favorite places in Vancouver! Whenever friends or family are visiting Vancouver, Catoro is my first suggestion :)
