Very disappointed in the whole experience. From the food to the service. Service was very poor with a lady who was very rude towards my wife during the ordering process. You can tell they are in it for a quick buck. Fries were not fresh and cod consisted of mainly batter. My wife was skeptical of the place as we are used to proper British fish and chips. This place has no clue what they are doing! The tartar sauce was some cheap alternative of mayo mixed relish. Their so called “clam chowder” was some under seasoned potato soup with bit of sea food that looked like it was pulled from a can… This place is not worth the time and money.

Sadly the worse fish and chips I ever had. Avoid. All the fish are pre fried and the cook throws them in the frier before serving it to you. Bland and no taste. Small portions for outrageous prices. Best you avoid if you are craving fish and chips or end up disappointed.

The shop did not feel clean, and the fries appeared to have been pre-cooked and left sitting out before being served. The halibut and fries were served without lemon, and when I requested some, I was given a discoloured and slimy slice. Overall, the food quality and cleanliness were disappointing. I would not recommend this place.

Fish and chip stand in the food court area. I had a cod fish and fries. Everything is freshly made! served in a takeout box with cutlery. Good prices. Single fish is a good portion size.

If there was an option to give this place -100 stars, I would. Celine’s Fish at Granville is a total disgrace. The batter was thick, greasy, and gross, the fish was sliced up instead of being served as a proper fillet, and it tasted like frozen supermarket fish. On top of that, the customer service was rude and uninterested. This place is nothing but a tourist trap hiding behind the name of “fish and chips.” Hands down the worst I’ve ever had.

I chose rockfish for the first time and I am amazed and delighted!! I don’t have fish and chips often, these were the perfect crunch/flake/breading/fish ratio.

We took a tour of Vancouver and ate at Celine's Fish and Chips. We both ordered the Salmon Fish and Chips. The Salmon was tasty, the breading on the fish was light and had a good flavor. The star of the show were the french fries, they were amazing!!

We eat at Celine’s Fish and Chips every time we visit Granville Island (we’re from Edmonton!), and it never disappoints. The food is always incredibly fresh — the fish is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I especially love their tartar sauce and the calamari — both are full of flavour and cooked just right.
Everything comes out warm, crispy, and absolutely delicious. It’s become a tradition for us, and we always look forward to it. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
