Mid vegan Vietnamese food. Better options elsewhere

We ordered the #17 Soup and added chicken plus a poached egg — it was delicious! We loved it so much that we went back to try the taro chips with house-made dip, and those were amazing too.
The ladies working there were so joyful and shared that they put a lot of love and emotion into their soups — and you can truly taste it.
Highly recommend! 🌟

Awesome food. Obsessed with the tastes, flavors and variety of dishes. Not a local to Vancouver but hands down my favorite restaurant there

It used to be an awesome vegan, cruelty free Vietnamese restaurant - real gem in the city.
Unfortunately they started selling food with dead animals there - it's truly heartbreaking. Now there is nothing special about Chau veggie anymore - plenty of restaurants like that.

The Saigon Bowl was very tasty especially becaue of the extra broth (coconut curry). However not the entire menu is vegan. The price is fair since the portion size is pretty decent.
Artisan Coffee !
I ordered the Midnight Swim Bowl (wild rice, tofu, bean curd skin and a mix of veg). The spiced peanut sauce provided a little kick and the portion was large and filling. Service was quick and friendly. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-21
Great tasting soup. If you want a break from the slaughtered cows....give them a try! A bit expensive....but what isn't now a days

A wonderful vegan find! Every option looked delicious! The staff were wonderful about adding or leaving out ingredients particularly onion and garlic free meals/options labelled. Also delicious traditional Vietnamese coffee!
Fresh, super fast, and reasonably priced. They even found us outside to bring us some rice they had forgotten to give us with our order!

We had the spring rolls and fresh rolls, both were yummy!! Friendly service, fair prices, and vegan all the way. We will definitely be back!
Unassuming Vietnamese food in the chaos of Granville Island.
I got their fresh roll and taro chips. The roll was good, but nothing special. The hand cut taro chips and its accompanying sauce made it for me. It’s a very mild spice (i think siracha) mixed with silken tofu.
Definitely a must try if you’re looking for a less visited shop in Granville.

So tasty!
Perfect lunch stop after arriving in Vancouver after lots of traveling. I got the fried rice bowl which was super fresh and full of delicious vegetables plus the lemongrass ginger broth. It was enough to save some for later too. So yummy. Being inside the market is such a fun experience too!
It was great to have a fully vegan place to eat at in Granville Island. There were quite a good few options and the portion sizes were decent.
