Every time I visit COBS Bread on Commercial, I think her name is Angelica she always greets me with a smile and makes me feel welcome. She often recommends the best breads and delicious scones. She serves customers quickly and with such kindness. That’s the reason I keep coming back!

I was dismayed to see this location entirely staffed by Temporary foreign workers/international students. This isn’t a corporate thing as COBS are franchises and absolutely do not require an outsourcing of labour to fill their staffing needs. It isn’t justifiable in this day and age and given the current plight of extreme youth unemployment and local workers struggling to find a position I find it outrageous that a business who wants a place in the local community continues to exploit cheap foreign labour. Not spending a penny here until I see a change reflected in this places hiring practices. Shame on whomever is making those decisions.

I went to cobs bread commercial drive with my child and ordered a few things and they boxes all products together and wrong then she over charged me and couldn't figure out how to refund.Then I paid and asked me if I wanted a bag I said yes because I have a lot of things and I had my son in my arms and she said it would be a charge for bag after I just paid for all my bread and pastries. I find the customer service bad and not welcoming to anyone with child.I would support other bakery's

I absolutely love COBS Bread! The quality is always amazing, everything is fresh, and the taste is incredible. It’s easily my favourite bakery.
What makes it even better is their birthday and half-birthday treats! Getting a free cinnamon bun or scone on my special day is such a nice touch. Every year, I come to this location to pick up my birthday treats, and it has become a tradition for me.
The staff here are always kind and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, COBS Bread, for the delicious treats and great service!

Very poor customer appreciation, I ordered the caramel scone upon noticing the lady use the same thongs she had used for the pork item I asked her to use new thongs that I do not eat pork, she used the same thongs and totally disregarded what I stated, she proceeded to put the item in the bag which she wrapped wiping off the icing I felt so disrespected I paid for my stuff walked down commercial giving what I ordered to a gentleman.

Waste of money, very rude service I would not go back there again, the racism our people face is unbelievable the fact that we are looked down on when we are the true owners of Mother Earth is absurd! Everyone deserves respect especially while purchasing things, lack of ability to give customers appreciation should be crime!

I ordered scones from this branch and requested they were double wrapped as they were for a flight home back to London, UK. COBS staff kindly listened to my request and wrapped and secured my scones with such care. They also left a kind note on the packaging which really made my day.

I wish I caught the name of the member of staff who dealt with my order. Thank you for your kindness.

I highly recommend COBS. The absolute best scones/pastries. I highly recommend the lemon and blueberry scone.
