Arrived 8:40am on a weekday Wednesday for breakfast, but they were closed despite Google and their front sign says hours at 8am-1am.
Maybe there was some delay with staffing but there wasn’t a sign on the door. Was excited to try it, hopefully next time!
What an amazing spot to have a beer with friends. Nachos had cheese in every layer and the pitcher was at a good price. Will be coming back and recommending it to everyone.

We are visiting from Australia and came past this place for dinner. The service was incredible and the staff were an absolute delight.
Now for the food. Our food was absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend coming to this place.
If I lived in Vancouver I would definitely be a regular at this place.

We had an amazing time at your restaurant! The pizza was absolutely delicious, with perfect crust and fresh toppings. The calamari was crispy and flavorful, and the baked prawns were a true highlight – tender and perfectly seasoned. We truly enjoyed every dish!
A big thank you to the staff for their excellent service, and to the chef for preparing such outstanding meals. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Food was average but customer service was terrible. We kept signaling for the waitress for some salt for our food. After waiting for like 10mins and no response we just ate the cold food without any salt. We waited another 10 mins for someone to see us so that we can get our bill

I come to this cafe quite often and for me the staff is always friendly and polite. Of course we are all people and sometimes something can go not perfect, but I always saw they try to fix it very fast.
Some guests maybe think that servers are not interested but in reality I noticed they talk with people at the bar and this is normal here. Many people come not only for food or drinks but also for atmosphere and conversations, and sometimes bartenders feel like part of company.
About food, yes sometimes snacks or dishes come not same time with beer, but manager and team always react very professional, which shows big respect to customers.
In general this place has very nice vibe, warm and friendly, you can meet interesting people, get real smiles and feel true Canadian mood.
Respectfully.

Terrible service and smells like curry inside

Very slow service. Can tell the waitress was just uninterested in being there. Took forever between drinks and snacks and when we were on round three of drinks, with my party of 4, 3 of us wanted to conclude with a third beer followed with the bill. However only one of us got our drink, thinking me and my other friend would get ours in a bit, some 20 minutes later we were presented with the bill. Instead of pointing out the mistake I just decided we pay and leave as we had movie in 15 minutes. We were in this ‘cafe’ for 1.5 hours and our simple orders took forever and two of us didn’t receive the requested drink. On top of the pricey food, taxes and bland service this isn’t worth the money so no tip was left. Based on other reviews this is an ongoing issue and I have also been to this place twice in the past and it’s clearly gotten worse. Skip this one, as there are better bars out there.

Lots of misleading stuff going on.
1: Their happy hour is not everyday like it says on their online menu.
PSA 2: The fish & chips were $19, not $17 like their Google menu says, despite it saying they updated the menu 1 day ago. And look at their photo compared to my actual order. Doesn't look like the one on their page. Where's the salad? And there was soggy batter in mine.
The wings were $15.
I know the economy is really tough, but if changes are being made to cut back, you need transparency. This whole experience made me feel like the business is trying to be sneaky.

This is probably one of the last remaining affordable bars in Vancouver or any Canadian downtown. Prices you remember from pre-pandemic. It’s a little divey, don’t expect Cactus Club intensity of service, but really really good for its price point and open later than most places on weekdays. Has a backpacker vibe in a good way

Irregardless of the price, the quality of food is not up to standard for the area. Then tie in that you can get a better meal for the same price or cheaper on this street, I don’t think it’s worth going to.
Service was good though. But nothing else about it was in any way good.

Service was horrible!!!! Waited 30 MINUTES and no one came to take our food order meanwhile they had time to have a group convo behind the bar. And then me and my partner decided to pay for our 1 drink and go elsewhere (theres plenty of better options with in less then 5 mins away) waited additional 15mins to get the bill and left and went to earls down the street with comparable prices and better food and service. We were greeted asap and food was phenomenal so go there instead.
