I ordered this dish from the special menu, apparently a popular item. However I found the chicken stinky and old, even with the flavorful sauce I couldn’t finish the meal and left it half way.
Apparently the staff don’t have any authority or control over customer satisfaction or compensation offers, so they just said nothing is wrong with the food and expressed they are sorry. Not sure if I will try their food again.

Lovely staff, nice and clean place, tasty dessert.

This was my first and last time ordering from Talavera. I ordered through Uber Eats and the estimated delivery time was 25 minutes, but it arrived after 1 hour and 5 minutes. The enchiladas were unfortunately disappointing—the chicken wasn’t shredded but rather served in chunks inside the tortilla. The portion of sauce was also quite limited, leaving the bottom part of the enchiladas very dry. Sadly, I think there are much better Mexican food options in the city.

Stopped by for a quick drink and ordered the horchata banana latte. It was to die for! It had the texture of a Tim’s iced capp but with the flavours of horchata and cinnamon. The banana puree was also delicious. Service was super friendly. I’ll be back for sure!

I've been to all the Mexican places in Vancouver and seriously, none of them are as good as this one. Everything is super delicious, all the girls on the staff are super friendly and they also have great prices. I always recommend this site. 10/10. Very good. Everything tastes what it should taste like, just like going out to eat in CDMX. Talavera forever.
