Food here is so good so it’s such a shame the bad experience we had. Went for dinner with my partner and our server offered us shots which we didn’t want and said no. He then proceeded to bring 3 shots to our table, 2 for us one for him. When we looked at our bill later not only had he put our shots on the bill which we didn’t want, he charged us for his. I tried to call and email the restaurant and got no response when looking to speak to a manager. Disappointing behaviour from a business!

The private room downstairs is a great spot for group events. Not alot of hassle for the host, your guests pay a flat rate for food and space rental when you get there and then buy drinks as they wish. The team working downstairs know that they're doing, they keep track of everything so you don't have too. The food is amazing and never stopped coming, and if anyone has dietary restrictions they'll make sure they don't miss out on anything. From the time you walk in the door and go downstairs everything is simple for the host and the guests.

Love this place- really really great food, very considerate staff. Had a party of 20 and they accommodated vegans and vegetarians mixed with omnivores for a set menu that everyone loved. and, to top, the drinks are absolutely delicious.Vegetarian options: large vegetarian menu and everything has veg substitutions.Dietary restrictions: They can accomodate any and all dietary restrictions.

Picnics In The Country.
This was the best food we ate on our short visit to Vancouver. We had the Guac to start followed by lamb asado, the prawns and the ensalada crudo which was more than enough for two ppl. The food was flavourful and delicious and the margaritas were fantastic. I highly highly recommend this place!!

Food and drinks are ok. Service was very bad. Waitress was very rude from the minute we walked in. After ordering food and drink, she came about 10 times to ask if I want to order anything else withing 35 minutes. That's every 4 minutes at best. We couldn't even have a conversation because she kept harassing us.We had to switch restaurant to Cactus to enjoy the rest of the night with better drinks and no sales pressure every few minutes. There is so many other places where you can get better service for your money in town, I do not recommend this place. Very isolated and not an ideal place to meet anyone either.

Gregor was an amazing person who gave us awesome recommendations! All the food was very good and what I actually liked was that, even if the night was busy, we were given dishes separately instead of being bombarded with a bunch of flavors all at once. Each dish was amazing and will be coming back soon! Not to mention, the drinks were very flavorful and fun! Expect to spend roughly 100-150 for the night, but it's well worth it! Thank you!

Staff is friendly and passionate about their menu. We were greeted warmly and the staff was able to provide details such as the country of origin of each traditional ingredient and dish. Lots of fun twists on traditional dishes and cocktails like a jalapeño margarita. Four of us chose their tasting menu which was more than enough food and very good value for the price. So delicious and fun to discuss each surprise. Would recommend.

I recently planned a birthday dinner here for 26 people and the entire process of booking and the dinner itself was so so seamless! Stuart was incredibly accommodating and easy-going (which was such a treat compared to many other restaurants I contacted to host a large group). The large harvest table allowed us move around the table and be able to socialize with everyone and not just stay glued to our seats. Our server, Brenda, was INCREDIBLE! She was so impressive with remembering names and taking orders and she exuded humour and patience the whole time. It is always difficult to get a large group to listen. and she handled it so so well. Dinner was delicious and filling and they were able to accommodate for all dietary restrictions. I couldn't recommend Cuchillo enough and our whole party had great feedback about the night! The people, vibes and food are 5/5 here!

The food is amazing. The skirt steak tacos, ceviche, pork belly, brussel sprouts, you name it. It’s unreal! Really cool interior design, and great choice of music always. Highly recommend for a date or with friends.Removing 1 star because the few times I’ve been here, without fail, the service is awful. Every time, we’ve gotten a server that couldn’t care less. We’ve never been checked up on, asked how the food is, had water refilled, nothing. Maybe it’s a bad coincidence. One time we arrived 5 minutes late to a reservation due to a highway accident and the host had the audacity to comment on us being late… heavily undertrained front of house staff in my opinion.
