The area isn’t the most appealing, but I appreciate the small, local charm of this restaurant. They have a nice patio, and the dining room itself feels intimate, with a clear view of the kitchen across the space.

Large assortment of wine, and saki to choose from…but I felt like a cocktail instead which was made well with an impressively clear ice cube shaped as a long rectangle that floated vertically in the highball glass. I didn’t feel the pork belly hit the mark (as it tasted like dry HK-style roasted pork), but everything else was good. Especially liked dipping the bread into the dip that came with the peppers.
