I had the peach jasmine tea and matcha swirl soft serve. Perfect fresh consistency, not too creamy or sweet!

This is another specialty matcha cafe brand from Japan. The specialty is the matcha drinks and dessert parfaits, but there’s a variety of teas and a few light sandwiches (the menu is online). The shop is small but there’s a few tables and window seats, and the design is very appealing in soothing deep blue tones.I ordered the crispy shrimp sando, the shiratama parfait, and an osmanthus dark roasted oolong latte. The shrimp sando was tasty, the shrimp and slaw were nice and crunchy. Also for some reason I really like eating sandwiches where the bread is pressed like this. The parfait was also very good with a fun medley of textures and flavours. It comes with your choice of soft serve: they have matcha and a seasonal flavour, which you can twist. I didn’t see any signage in store nor could I find any indication online of what the seasonal flavour was, but I decided to be adventurous and twist anyway, and I think it was hojicha. The soft serve had a balanced flavour that was strong but not bitter. The mochi was very chewy and there were a lot of pieces (I thought it would just be the 3 balls on top, but there were a few more layered in). Their parfaits are a very manageable size for one person as opposed to the huge parfaits at Nana’s and Tsujiri. Finally, I was wondering if I’d regret not getting something with matcha or hojicha to drink at a specialized matcha place, but the osmanthus oolong was unique and definitely a good choice. The floral osmanthus went well with oolong. It was a little sweet but not too much it could have been just the oatmilk that I got was sweetened. The service was great. The staff was welcoming and patient with my question about the difference between the two parfaits on the menu.

I stopped by for a quick dessert and was welcomed by two very nice workers. It looked like they were in the middle of a conversation but they put it on pause as soon as I walked through the doors. The shop was empty, and i hadn't scanned the menu before entering, so I was staring at the menu from afar, when the cashier encouraged me to come closer as they also had a menu by the register. I was feeling a bit indecisive since everything looked so good but I ended up choosing the Shiratama parfait which the worker explained to me contained rice cake balls and red bean filling. It didn't take them very long to get my order but they apologized for the short wait (which imo was totally unnecessary but very kind) The matcha soft serve was not as sweet as I thought it'd be, but this worked well with the sweet red bean filling. The rice cake balls seemed to be topped and filled with kinako and while I normally love rice cake, I thought they were kind of tough to chew If I were to come again, I'd probably opt for a cup or cone of swirl soft serve instead of a parfait. The shop is kind of small, so while there is some eating, if your group is larger than 2-4 people, you may have trouble finding enough seats to accommodate your party

Daigyo is a Japanese chain from Shizuoka, Japan. Shizuoka is one of the Japanese cities known for harvesting tea. The interior is contemporary and well lit. The seating area isn't big but I see a lot of patrons getting to-go. We got: 1) hojicha smoothie with matcha soft serve - it doesn't have the smoothie texture as it's more of a slushie. I personally prefer even richer tea taste but it was quite good and my husband really enjoyed it. It was a good combination too as you get to enjoy both kinds of tea. 2) hot hojicha latte - again, i preferred it to be a little stronger in tea flavor but the drink definitely warmed me up on a cold rainy day. If you haven't tried hojicha before, I'd highly recommend it as you don't get too many other places that serve hojicha.

It was okay. It took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks because there was only one person working. Sadly it wasn't really worth the wait or the price.

Cute little matcha dessert place on Robson. My friends got the matcha smoothie. I opted for the white peach jasmine smoothie. So refreshing and a perfect dessert to have after eating some savory food at a place close by.

If you're a lover of matcha, this is the place for you. I loved trying the different drinks and bites when Daigyo first opened. When it first opened there were long lines, service is fast and the options are really fun leaving you with lots of options. The space is smaller, more of a grab and go, there's window side seating but general seating is sparse. Would highly recommend dropping by on a hot summer day.

I was drawn to the menu when I saw they have white peach flavored beverages. On the menu, the peach drink was only the iced fruit tea, but the girl working there was nice and turn it into a jasmine tea latte with peach flavor! I liked it and the cafe is very nice and trendy!

Dessert was quite delicious and refreshing. Decor inside was gorgeous. Great spot for a light post dessert to share with friends.
