The fish soup noodle set is good. The fish soup is real taste from fish not from chemical. I like this.

Value is awesome, food is tasty, there's (usually) no wait time, and service is friendly. My family and I have started going here almost every month or whenever we come back from a trip (we don't eat out often) and there's nothing better than hot noodle soup for the winter/fall season. Highly recommend getting the customized noodle soup + smoothie with vanilla ice cream combo.

Good experience, classic spot to get noodles! We normally go to the one in Richmond but this place is really nice as well! They did give us a wrong order tho but they apologized and gave us an extra order! Very nice service! Would recommend!!

Ordered a rice noodle soup for lunch. Big portion with a free hot coffee. Quite good taste with a reasonable price.

We heard that this restaurant might be closing soon, so my partner and I rushed over for a bowl of fish soup rice noodles. Even in the mid-afternoon around 3–4 PM, the place was full and felt surprisingly upscale.

As usual, we ordered their signature rice noodles. The ordering system is simple: you tick your choices on a sheet. First, choose your broth — cilantro fish soup, regular fish soup, or tomato fish soup. Then pick your noodles (white noodles, yellow noodles, rice noodles, etc.), followed by two or three toppings, with the option to add more for an extra charge. You can also check off any ingredients you want to remove, like green onions or tofu skin.

Since we didn’t both want noodles, we also ordered one of their steamed halibut sets. They offer a few versions, such as pepper sauce or garlic. We chose the pepper sauce version for a mild spicy kick, and it came with a bowl of rice.
The highlight, of course, was the experience that day. The soup was hot, flavorful, and the noodles had a great texture — not too soft and not too firm. The toppings I chose were tasty as well.

Overall, it was a satisfying meal.
I'd rate it higher if they their floor is less greesy and accept credit cards for payment, it is not very convenient.

Soup is delicious. Revisited in November 2025, the food quality is still consistent!

Nothing spectacular, just standard reliable fish soup noodle place. Food comes fast. You will find AC to be non-existent if there are more patrons and if you are having a soup noodle. So during the summer I often have their curry which is pretty good. Curry comes even faster (under 5min) so it's my go to if I am in a rush. All their female servers are very good. They have two long time male server that are efficient if they care about you but often they have an attitude problem. There is a third male long time server called Fai. He's the best - very polite and attentive. He even remembers what I usually eat while the rest of them don't seem to care (not that I expect that either). They do have some new servers recently and they are good so far. They seem to still care about their work.

Open from 12pm-11pm everyday. It's busy because its good. If you have one of those doorbells on the table, use it. You'll get prompt service from the waitstaff.

I recently ate at the Fraser street location and had a good experience. My honger friends and I usually frequent the other Deer Garden Signature in Richmond. Since we were in the heart of little India, we decided to give this location a shot.

Starting at $17.95 you choose your soup, toppings, noodles, and drink.
The laksa broth is my favorite so far. I went with what I knew would suit me.
The spicy peanut broth is also very delicious. Service is very fast and efficient here. Parking is a bit tight. Apparently it use to be free parking on the street. Now the city of Vancouver installed parking meters. And there's a ton of smokers out front lol.
