I had to stop by. I wasn't super hungry, so I grabbed a fried chicken Bao as a snack. The chicken was so juicy and the batter was so crispy. The sauce was perfect. I'll be sure to bring my full appetite the next time I'm in the city.

Changed the recipe and shrinked the chicken portion by a lot. Sad.

The best fried chicken I have ever had

So I had slightly inaccurate expectations... I did a custom tofu and cauliflower bowl, and when I saw tofu and cauliflower and all these veggie toppings and I was thinking I was going to get a healthy veggie rice bowl. Not really the case. It's deep fried tofu and cauliflower bites with sweet and mayo-based sauces, so while not void of nutritional value, not exactly health food either. Once I adjusted my expectations though, I have to say my bowl was amazing. The tofu and cauliflower were crispy and chewy and the sauces (I got plum mayo and sweet chili) were really tasty. There was a good serving of the protein and toppings compared to the rice. I left full. Fyi they cannot do half and half bases - I tried asking for half rice and half greens and they suggested I just get rice and get greens as one of my toppings, but I declined since I was interested in other toppings.I really enjoyed the almond milk tea too. It's made with earl grey but reminded me a lot of Thai iced tea (very sweet). The staff was very nice. When I arrived around 7 it was totally empty but they were working on some takeout orders, and then it suddenly got packed. It was about a 10 minute wait to get my food, which isn't bad.I would go back, though I'd get the mixed greens as the base next time instead of the rice to be more balanced since the battered tofu/cauli is in itself enough carb for one sitting.I was disappointed that they put a lid on my bowl even though I told them I was eating in, so I'd also be very specific next time saying that I don't need or want a lid, although I'm not sure if it would make a difference since the kitchen probably more or less runs on autopilot packing orders.

This fried chicken came from heaven. I had the Korean Fried Chicken rice bowl, which has a delicious garlic and sweet sauce, as well as corn, green beans and a tasty radish. This is definitely my favorite fried chicken in Vancouver!

Made a couple orders online to go - the orders were messed up. They took extra pay for additional cheese and kimchi but guess what - when I came home, I saw neither cheese nor kimchi in the order. Will never order there again and do not recommend to anyone.

Friend told me about disco cheetah and so far I've been twice in two weeks! From the name... i did not expect it to be Korean food. I love the Korean fried chicken bowl - very good portion of chicken, and the pieces are nice and meaty. The sauce on top is a mix of sweet Chilli and a cream sauce and it is delicious when mixed with the rice. Perfect lunch or dinner bowl. I've ordered ahead for pick up both times, and there was a line of take out orders ready to go both times. There's a couple of tables inside for dining in.Depending on the time you go, might be hard finding a spot on Davie.

Great KFC bowl! Definitely quality food and good portions. I did find the one dude working behind the counter to be a bit obnoxious though. May or may not go back based on that. But hey....they food is worth giving it a try.

We have made an order online for two custom bowls (to go), tipped (that was a mistake I guess), picked up the order just to find out at home that one of the bowls lacked cheese (I paid for it extra). Extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend anyone to order food here after such a negligence towards food orders. This was my last time ordering here.

Phenomenal fried chicken, great pickles, and really unique sauce & spices! The KFC bowl cost just over 20$ but was generously sized and made for tasty leftovers.Vegetarian options: They have tofu for a protein & build your own bowl options!
