We were seated promptly, tea served once everyone arrived. The satay noodle was great because it wasn't as sweet as I feared. The flavor of black garlic eggplant was on the sweeter side in comparison, decent.
Food was very tasty, seating is not. Quaint restaurant with thought behind the menu, but I found the seat choice very uncomfortable. The bar area is set up for 4 but very tight quarters. The restaurant could do well with a coat rack of some sort. Service was average.
This place was super busy when we went, but the food came out incredibly fast. We had the mushroom wings and they were absolutely delicious — the sauce was everything. It had that perfect balance of slightly sweet, savory, vinegary, and a little spicy kick. I would go back to the restaurant just for those wings.
We also ordered the lemongrass vermicelli bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and the portion size was huge. Highly recommend this spot!
