I usually have a very good experience at this Earls. Yesterday, however, a couple of problems. 1. I reserved a table on back patio, one friend arrived early and insisted on moving inside. Request granted, no prob, but then we were ignored for a long time, or told 'someone will come by'. Not good. 2. Finally we were served, young woman was wonderful. Weirdly, because we were "sitting in the dining room" (feet from the bar) we were told Happy Hour items were not usually available. Whatever...not server's fault. There were also problems with bill not reflecting HH pricing, but that was fixed. Food from the HH menu was hit or miss, pizza and sushi big hits, Tennessee chicken not so much. We would likely have had a better experience on patio, but moving us inside should not have been so problematic for serving staff.
Sad to see Earl's obviously losing it. People were nice but service was terrible. No wonder we easily got in. No food until over 50 minutes and the place was not busy. Took ages to get a drink as well. Again...very sad. Been an Earl's customer for decades. Would like to think the experience was unique...but couldn't even get into their competitor restaurants without a significant wait so clearly others have noticed the decline. Also mice running around and squeaking on the upper outside balcony. Really hope Earls is not on the path to closure.
Awesome food & service even on a busy night! It's our go to spot, each year for the Fireworks.
We were a bit late to our reso but they got us in right away and everyone was so kind. Great service at every level! The server was so accommodating and on top of everything, best experience I have ever had at an Earls !
I had a really good meeting with a friend. Great table, right balance of being attentive but not obtrusive
Food was great, music was a bit loud but they adjusted it for us. But our server Lori was absolutely amazing. We will be back!
I believe our server was Edgar. He was fantastic. He was quick and attentive. Making sure our drinks never emptied and clearing our plates when we were finished. He was friendly and all around a fantastic server. We will be back just because of him.
We often dine for breakfast as a group, the staff is always friendly & courteous. The food is fresh and delicious and environment is engaging.
Food was very good, but portions were small. Pricing wasn't bad though. The fact is that the sevice is excellent and the wait staff very friendly and eager to please.
Great atmosphere and food was amazing! Can't remember our server's name, but he was bubbly and very helpful!

Delicious food, great prices, super friendly staff, and a lovely patio atmosphere—what more could you ask for?
We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and we had a great experience! Food was outstanding , drinks very good , ambience etc . Server was really friendly and Chef Robert visit our table , made us feel like family. I would definitely go back !
Service was OK, not very attentive despite the fact it was not busy The drinks were the only remarkable part The chicken tacos had dry chicken meat. My salmon was OK, but the broccoli was undercooked and the rice was overcooked...
The overall experience was good. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. We were put on a comfortable setting. The table was clean, the menu was clean and easy to read. The server however was a bit distracted, after giving us our water she had forgotten about us. Not until 15 minutes later that we were served. Everything afterward was stellar.
Great location on Robson St. Food and service were good. A great place to go with friends.
