Tried buy hot chocolate got bars would not give cash back just. Hade 45 seconds
East Van Roasters is one of my favourite coffeehouses in the city. The dark roast never fails to brighten my day, and the chocolate chip cookies are delicious—though I do try to limit how many I get.
Staff are attentive, making the service enjoyable.
I do wish the atmosphere were a bit brighter, as it can feel quite dark inside. Additionally, the seating isn't as comfortable as I would like.
Nonetheless, it's a place I enjoy visiting.

Oh me, oh my. What a gem! They really care about their craft here. A chocolatey and wine-like (according to the barista — I’m simply not savvy enough to detect that one but I believe her, and whatever the notes were, it was delicious) espresso that really made my morning ☕️
Plenty of seating and a friendly, serene vibe. Good wifi too if you’re in wfh mode 👩💻 Thank you for having me!

Small but mighty. The coffee was made with love and I could tell. My oat latte had perfect texture and the espresso was very well balanced. Decaf espresso also had a very nice taste on its own. Great prices, friendly staff and free period products in the restrooms! Very thoughtful

Alice made me a great latte. It was up to Melbourne coffee standard. Thank you 🙏
Rude staff, mediocre coffee at best
Lovely oat flat white. The ham and cheese toasted croissant was also delicious! Really cool styling
Every time we visit Vancouver we make a point to stop for their single origin hot chocolate. It is rich but not heavy or too sweet. Hits the spot each time. I also make sure to buy their brick of baking chocolate. You can’t beat the quality.

super good
This place doesnt get as much hype as the other cafes in the area but I think it's unwarranted. They have wifi, it's quiet, and the coffee and chocolate are outstanding. I recommend the mocha!
Yes it’s east van location wise but if u are coffee addict like me you would appreciate the coffee here , the atmosphere is really nice too it’s hard to find cafe in Vancouver situated at historic buildings . The vibe and coffee is amazing !
At East Van Roasters, they’re still doing the traditional method to blend several coffee beans n roasted in medium or medium dark levels. This hit the sweet spot, and created a well-balanced flavours. Love the macchiato n bought the Empress Blend. Can’t wait to make my own macchiato with this new beans.
Again, I couldn’t resist to sketch this cute and little cozy shop. I’m happy to see the finished piece n share with owners n baristas.

Coffee and chocolates in an intimate space. It's perfect.
The java is impeccable. The chocolate truffles are so delicious with a beautiful display. And the service was great.
