The highlight of the menu is the steaks, but there are also options for those who may prefer something other than a steak. The food was delicious. Every bite was savory and enjoyable. Our waiter was awesome: attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. He guided us through the menu and recommended items that worked well together. For instance, he recommended wines that paired well with our food choices. Highly recommend Elisa. Wonderful experience. 🥩👏
The best steak and fish I had in Vancouver, so far. Our waiter was super! But the most expensive restaurant!
Having dinner with my whole family celebrating my son's birthday 🎂. Great place, good food, we all have a wonderful night. Thank you!

Can't miss it, superb food and service
Went to Elisa to celebrate my graduation as it’s known for being one of the best steakhouses in Vancouver. We ordered the following:
1. Oysters (West and East Coast) - $4.5/piece
2. Blue Dot Beef - Vancouver Cut - $89
3. A5 Miyazaki - $36/oz
4. Sablefish - $52
5. Brussels Sprout - $14
6. Chocolate Cake - $16
As expected with these fine dining restaurants, service was great with them being able to explain the different cut of meats and wines available. Plenty of drinks options for both alcohol and non-alcohol.
Food wise, I do think they serve good steak, though the heavy lifting definitely comes from the wagyu. It was my first time trying the Vancouver cut and while it was pretty unique, still could not compare to wagyu. The sablefish was an unexpected favourite and a good option for my mother who doesn’t eat steak.
Appetizers can be hit and miss, since neither my dad and I are fans of the oysters. The brussel sprouts served as a nice side for the steaks, but I think they overgrilled it with too much oil, which made them taste oily and a bit rancid. Dessert made up for it though, loved the salty-sweet ice cream and lava cake.
Pretty good experience. Went here for a birthday dinner. Had the Barrata Salad and the Steak Wellington with Tenderloin
Pros:
Meat cooked perfectly and was high quality cut
The pastry was exceptional
Nice ambiance
Cons:
The drinks were overpriced and too sweet
Server kept rushing us
Overall was a good experience
Wonderful food and service! The beef carpaccio and scallops are to die for. Will be returning
Our server was very friendly, quick and knowledgeable.
We had a great time there. Will be definitely back!

Jerry has incredible sense of detail regarding the Wagyu and did an excellent job looking after us in every way. Superb service from him and the restaurant and the food was unbelievable - Japanese Wagyu was incredible

My husband and I visited this restaurant on November 10 around 6:30 PM. We understand it was busy, and we weren’t ordering a lot, as we were just looking for a light dinner. The food and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately, the service was the worst we’ve experienced in a long time.
Our server, who had tattoos, circle glasses, and a beard, barely spoke to us throughout the meal. We never caught his name because he barely said more than three words. At one point, he asked us a question while walking by and, as we were starting to answer, he had already moved on. It was clear he didn’t care about our response.
Despite the poor service, we tried not to let it ruin our evening. Both of us have worked in service before and understood that it was busy, and that our smaller bill might not have required as much attention. We still tipped 18% because we didn’t know how the tips were split between servers and the back-of-house staff.
However, when we returned to our hotel and opened our takeout, we were disappointed to find our truffle mac and cheese (which we only had a couple bites of) and the Brussels sprouts (which we didn’t touch) all thrown together in one container, in a messy way as if they’d been carelessly tossed in.
This final detail really soured our experience and unfortunately, overshadowed what was supposed to be a nice evening before we fly back home tomorrow morning. I don’t usually write reviews or publicly complain, but the entire experience—from start to finish—was one of the worst service encounters we've had.

Interesting place in Vancouver, specialized in meat. The meat was good, no doubt about that. Service is overall good but sometimes a little bit slow and not perfectly coordinated between meat and vegetables. Good atmosphere.

Dined at Elisa, premier steakhouse, in yale town. It was recommended to us by a colleague with an exceptional taste for the culinary experience. It did not disappoint.
Brad, our server, guided us through the menu providing outstanding service for our dining experience. The beef wellington was prepared to perfection, and the sides were the perfect compliment to the main course. We capped dinner off with the baked Alaska for desert which was absolutely devine. The ambiance was perfect and made a night out for dinner feel like a special occasion to celebrate. We will be definitely returning.
Highly recommend!

So a little controversial opinion on this one. I had an amazing overall experience especially due to the service and atmosphere, would go back for that alone.
So when it comes to my 4/5 for the steak I just can't find that extra star. We decided on the Alberta Grass fed + grain Angus 12 oz Ribeye that was the special that evening, it came very highly recommended by our server. It was absolutely one of the most accurate medium rare steaks I have ever served, best cooked steak I have ever consumed. The "melt in your mouth" I was promised was missing though, notably lacking in fact. There's where the star is lost as I regret not ordering one of the aged Ribeyes like I had planned. Again, I'm looking forward to my next visit to try another menu item and I do have to drop a 5/5 for the Tune Tartare!
