Wanted to get some good oysters. Heard about another place before we came to Vancouver but was told by our driver from the airport that this is where we should go. That was a great recommendation, the oysters were very fresh, sweet, juicy & tasty. We got the Salish Seafood Platter, clam chowder, and mussels & clams. Also the Point Break Pilsner was on point 😉. Checked in at 5:10 pm and was told by the manager (i think he was the manager - a short, stocky bearded guy) to wait for 25 minutes which was fine. We came back when we received the text. Another person welcomed us and asked us to wait as he would prepare the table in the dining room. He’s nice and friendly. While waiting, the manager came to us and led us a table in the bar. We went there as a large group of 16 on a Saturday. The oysters were fresh but 5/12 of the oysters I ordered had shells in it. I think they could have done a better job at shucking, but I understand it was busy on a weekend. Service was ok. Everyone was very nice. But the way the waiter took our orders was kind of weird. He took some orders and not others. I assumed he went to ring it in. But then missed a few people so some had to wait to order. Same thing as getting the bill....
