This is one of the three conventional first year dining halls on UBC campus, and it is solidly alright.
They always offer a very wide selection of food at their various different stations including different types of pizza, burgers, pasta, and spins on traditional Mexican, homestyle, and Asian cuisine. They have all of this along with quite the yogurt/salad bar assortment + desserts and drinks.
Unlimited food with so many options is definitely a benefit, but some choices can be subpar at best and I noticed readily accessible protein options (primarily meat) are not always available.
My go to "clean" options (download nutrislice to be sure, but don't expect to see nutritional facts posted publicly ANYWHERE) that also taste pretty good include the sesame chicken salad with a hard boiled egg, any of their salmon meals, or a simple yogurt bowl.
It may be difficult to eat here everyday, but sometimes there are hidden gems and the staff never disappoint. This is why they deserve an absolute minimum of 4 stars :)
Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegan and vegetarian options for both dessert and main courses!

This place is awesome! Very reasonable price and if you like to eat alot the variety is awesome. I can't believe a place like this exists for the price. It is not fine dining but it is deffinatly a few steps above what you would expect for eating lunch anywhere at a university campus. Came here with my 9 year old daughter who is a healthy eater and we both had 3 breakfasts. She loved being able to get up and go get whatever she wanted. Good selection of different drinks avalible Aswell. Highly recommend. For the price, nothing beats it!

This buffet-style restaurant is amazing. You pay $16 and can enjoy unlimited servings of various foods, drinks, and desserts. While the food itself is just okay, it’s truly incredible considering the price.
