Flamingo Chinese Restaurant is a beloved establishment known for its diverse menu and friendly service. It has been a family favorite for decades, offering delicious and traditional dim sum options such as chive and shrimp dumplings, beef omasum, and bbq pork buns. Their veg Shanghai buns, green tea sesame buns, and mango pudding are also popular choices. The food is exceptional, with enormous siu mai full of shrimp, fragrant sticky rice, and light, crispy sweet pork puffs. Flamingo serves some of the best dim sum in the Lower Mainland, with a big selection of very well-cooked, delicious items like Shu Mai, soup dumplings, curry squid, and pork buns. While the taste and quality are excellent, portions can be small, and prices are higher than other restaurants. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, Flamingo has continued to maintain their high-quality food and family traditions.
