This is one of the most under the radar restaurants in Vancouver. In my opinion, this is clearly the best vegetarian in Vancouver. The tasting menu is very reasonable and worth trying. It is quite possible that this place will be given the next Michelin one star.On a side note, Priscila has brought the ice cream quality to an incredibly high level considering she does not use cream. There have been times when her ice cream has rivaled Michelin three star restaurants. We have gone to a lot of three stars over the years.

It's the attention to detail for me! We were created by amazing caring people who really put interest in building a real relationship with us ( me and my gf) then we were guided through the amazing menu. The food was just amazing, getting goosebumps with each bite.Highly recommend! We will definitely come back:)
Some of the food was nice others not so much. Staff bring items with quite a flourish. Their wine selection is definitely lacking. Like the fact they pay their staff a living wage and gratuity is included in menu prices.

Finally made it to Folke after what seems like a couple of years intending to go. It far exceeded any expectations I could have had; it literally knocked my socks off !Food: Incredible culinary cuisine, this is fine dining vegan food in a comfortable atmosphere. The tofu is clearly house made, and had a melt in your mouth texture, the best tofu I've had in my life. I have no idea how these guys managed to make celery root one of the best things I've ever eaten, but they did! The housemade caramel treat at the end was so good we bought more to bring home. I also loved the alcohol free mocktails. I was so impressed with how much attention to detail the meals had; flavor, visually, texture, they nailed it.Service: The service was a bit slow, but the staff were absolutely lovely. It was a saturday night, so to be expected. I really appreciated the meals being delivered by the chef's, who married them on delivery (yes, the food is delivered from the kitchen by the chef's to your table, it is a lovely attention to detail).Atmosphere: The restaurant is quaint and cozy. It's comfortable while still being trendy.I definitely hope to be going again soon, and definitely recommend! For reference; we shared the Beet appy, Tofu & Chickpea, Dumpling, Celery Root and a Squash (or pumpkin) Ravioli ... we had no room for dessert!

Our experience at Folke was sublime. To begin, the staff was phenomenal. We ordered the tasting menu, where each dish was presented to us as a treasured offering. I’m not a vegan (yet), however I could tell by my friend’s reactions, how unique our dishes were. I can’t describe all of them (there were 8) but the ingredients were fresh, flavorful and well combined.We could see the chef/s from our table, curating each dish with care and flair. It added to the overall ambiance of our experience. I really enjoyed the carrots with shiitake, ginger and mochi, as well as the beets with quince, hazelnut and gnocco fritto. I could go on and on, culminating with my toffee-like birthday treat, but my advice is to please ~ go there and taste for yourself.Finally, I had a gorgeous red wine from JoiRyde Winery, in Oliver B.C. It was so delicious, we took a bottle home!
