Simply excellent food, and great service. I'll be coming back.
Very good but they finish on year end.
One of the best dim sum in Vancouver outside of Richmond. The stir fried sticky rice is the best I have had with great umami flavour from the dried shrimp and Chinese sausage. Really good chili sauce too.
We have been coming here for over a decade
Average price average food poor parking. The parking lot is dark and dirty and small.
Wonderful meal. Very popular restaurant with local community.
We had Beijing duck for dinner
This review is only about the quality of the dishes. I am from Bay Area, California and take authentic Chinese food very seriously. I have relocated to Northern Washington several months ago. I was told by several people to go to Vancouver, Canada. I was actually headed to Chinatown however my mother and I got lost on the way (so happy that we did). A very nice lady asked us if we enjoy authentic Chinese food and out reply was yes, definitely and she guided us to this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, my taste buds were so satisfied. My review can not give enough positive feedback. The menu consists of great authentic dishes (some dishes are not on the menu, but if you request them, they will make them). They are hands down the best Chinese food that I have had since San Francisco.
We've been going to Fortune Garden for years and have always enjoyed consistent quality, tasty dishes, convenient parking, and decent service. And actually, since we have been dining there for years, we get stellar service. The servers have worked there for many years (which is a testament in and of itself), and Ivy, who is amazing, knows our order better than we do. The food is 4 stars and Ivy takes it to 5 stars.
Went there for lunch to try some traditional Shanghai dim sum. well below standard. Spring onion ring dough is too thick and full of frozen favour. Chicken noodle with vegetables is very bad. Soup is tasteless and noodle is hard. Both dishes can test the skills of the a Shanghai restaurant chef.

Great experience for seafood / Chinese food family dining in Vancouver.
The food are terrible and very pricey. The servers are not friendly at all, very mean and rude. We went to different restaurants in Vancouver and this is the worse experience we ever had so far and will definitely NOT coming back again. Beware of this restaurant!!! You will only waste your time and money.
Consistently good fresh dim sum nice sit down dining with decent service
Food was good, but our waitress lied about what was in thier buddhas delight, then argued when it wasn't what she told us. The manager came and offered us a alternative dish instead which was nice.
So like ummmm this restaurant was pretty cool bro. I enjoyed the pecking duck and the sweet sauce, a little on the salty side but still delicious. Workers were friendly but one kept staring at my family and I. Did not bother me. Logically speaking, the food was an avarage price and tasted pretty good, but it costed a bit more on the pricy side. Overall an average Chinese restaurant. Also, the washrooms are very automated so I literally touched nothing in there dudes. Yeah that's pretty much it my dudez
