One of the best dim sum in Vancouver outside of Richmond. The stir fried sticky rice is the best I have had with great umami flavour from the dried shrimp and Chinese sausage. Really good chili sauce too.
This review is only about the quality of the dishes. I am from Bay Area, California and take authentic Chinese food very seriously. I have relocated to Northern Washington several months ago. I was told by several people to go to Vancouver, Canada. I was actually headed to Chinatown however my mother and I got lost on the way (so happy that we did). A very nice lady asked us if we enjoy authentic Chinese food and out reply was yes, definitely and she guided us to this restaurant....
We've been going to Fortune Garden for years and have always enjoyed consistent quality, tasty dishes, convenient parking, and decent service. And actually, since we have been dining there for years, we get stellar service. The servers have worked there for many years (which is a testament in and of itself), and Ivy, who is amazing, knows our order better than we do. The food is 4 stars and Ivy takes it to 5 stars.
