I loved everything about this restaurant… Every time I have come back the staff has ensured that we got our food right on time. The atmosphere is the perfect one for both romantic as well as casual dinners and the food is always superb! Will forever be my favourite date night spot!!!!

A Vancouver institution. Always a great experience. Pasta are fresh ingredients are top notch and service is always spot on. I usually go for a pasta dish however i can sometimes get sidetracked when they talk about their special features of the night. They are always excellent!!

Absolutely amazing restaurant! We made a reservation about a week out and were able to get in. Upon entery to the building, we were immediately greeted with warm and wonderful front of house staff. They were super nice and friendly, warm but very professional.
We started with the antipasti meat cheese and bread. The focaccia bread was incredible!!! The baguette and other non levan bread were also delicious. They walk around with a bread basket and I honestly felt like I could have as much as I wanted. The butter was tasty but could have been a little softer for spreading. We got the house red and it was lovely. Wonderful wine for being the cheapest option on the menu.
Next we got our meal. I got the tortellini. The pasta was very well made and the sauce was impeccable. My partner got the horseradish crusted sable fish. The fish was PERFECTLY cooked!! he wanted a bit more of a horseradish crust though. The side vegetables could have had a bit more flavor but were well cooked.
Our desserts were stunning and flavorful. I think it was the best tiramisu I've ever had. It was light and creamy and perfectly coffee. The canolli were unique, creamy, crunchy, and served with a super fruity sorbet. We loved it! I prefer fully sliced strawberries though.
Our waitress was flawless.

This was our second visit, and while the atmosphere, greeting, and food were all lovely again, the service this time really took away from the experience.
There were a few small hiccups during the meal — a forgotten Heineken that we had to remind the server about, and a mix-up with the drinks where a diet Coke was brought instead of the Sprite that was ordered. Not major issues, but noticeable.
The part that really left a bad taste was the end of the meal. During our first visit, our original server asked how we’d prefer to split the bill, so we assumed splitting would be handled smoothly again. When we kindly asked to split the drinks and divide each platter between two bills, our server responded with, “Does it matter? They’re all the same price.”When we clarified that the drinks weren’t, she still said, “It all evens out.”
It felt dismissive and unnecessary. A simple “No problem, I can take care of that” or even asking another staff member for help would have gone much further than brushing it off. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, but the service this time really impacted what could have been another wonderful visit.

I had a reservation for 7.30pm for myself and my partner on our last evening in Vancouver, the restaurant had a nice a atmosphere, food was fantastic, I had a steak and my partner a pasta dish, we shared a desert and total was £70, in my opinion price was spot on. Food came out in no time and our waitress Meghan and a young gentleman as well were very accommodating and added to the experience. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

Don't come here. Really, it's a disappointment. Our waiter Ghislain seemed to want us to eat quickly and exit- we were not made welcome. Lots of empty tables on a Wednesday evening, so why? In any event, this was without a doubt an unforgettable dining experience- because it was terrible.
The meal was tasty, and it should be at $70+ for my entree. Skip this place.

Loved everything about this place. We didn't have a reservation but they found us a spot right away. Reminds me of the old school classic Italian restaurants I used to frequent years ago. Waiters dressed impeccably, service top notch. Food just what I was craving.
This is my husband’s and my favorite restaurant in Vancouver. It is consistent and we always know we will get a fantastic meal. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat, perfect for everything from a casual dinner to celebrating special occasions.
