i go here a lot and there is large variety for flavours. occasionally the pearls are a bit hard and less easy to chew. the place is clean and the atmosphere is inviting. i like the slush drinks and the brown sugar boba is made well.

Good spot for a bubble tea, convenient to the station and the college behind it. Many choices, my friend had the mango mango and was surprised with the mochi like mango bits. Give it a go!

Had a great experience at Gong Cha! The staff were super friendly and efficient. We ordered the coin waffle and it was delicious—fresh, warm, and crispy on the outside. Love the vibe and service here. Will definitely come back!

Came in because my sister had mentioned the place. Customer Service was non-existent, no greeting from either staff member or acknowledgement of our existence while we stood at the front and looked at the menu. There are so many posters with their specials that it was easily overwhelming. My sister decided not to order but I figured I'd try something. I had to ask the staff if I could order as they weredoingtheirownthing. I got the mango grapefruit smoothie and the service was quick but they called out the order number and not the name of the drink. I wasn't given an order number when I paid so I had to go up to check what it was. I thought it wasn't my order at first because it looked way lighter than the photo of what I was ordering. The mango in the smoothie was absent and the grapefruit at the bottom was an artificial syrupy, bitter taste. It wasn't at all what I was expecting and for the price there are other, way better bbt spots to try. Overall, a lackluster experience that I wouldn't come back for.

charges $0.30 for no ice. also ran out of normal pearls.

It's outrageous to charge $0.30 - $0.50 more for getting a cold drink *with no ice*. I have never seen this at any other bubble tea chain.

There are other options close by and would recommend others to avoid businesses like this that gouge and nickel and dime their customers.

I will not be coming back.

Boba that’s on the pricier side (depending on what you get), but is worth the money and makes for a good treat every once in a while! Conveniently, this Gong Cha branch is also right next to the Renfrew Skytrain station, making it pretty accessible by transit.

As of writing this review, I’ve only been to Gong Cha twice. However, I’ve been satisfied with the drinks I’ve tried so far and see future visits happening!

For my most recent visit, I got the Crème Brûlée Strawberry Latté with Regular Pearls, and it was light and smooth while also being just the right amount of sweet and strawberry-flavoured. On the top, there was some milk foam, which has a slightly saltier, almost cheesier flavour to it- sounds a little odd, but I found it quite tasty! The creme brûlée part was delicious- I expected it to just be a little sweet and crunchy, but some strong flavour came through, which was a great surprise! I tend to avoid non fruit-tea drinks, as usually I experience some bloating/uncomfortable fullness, but Gong Cha’s latté and milk tea options don’t cause that- something I’m grateful for :)

The Strawberry Cookie Milk Tea my sister got was really good too- strong in flavour but not overpowering, with the Oreo crumbs adding to the flavour of the drink in a good way. Thankfully not too sweet, which was something we were worried about!

The only “real” slight point of constructive criticism we had was that the pearls seemed to be on the smaller side today, but the texture and flavour was still there so it wasn’t a big deal, we understand that they can vary. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This particular Gong Cha location also offers food (Corndogs, Bubble Waffle, the viral cheese coin from a while back, even ice cream??), and has a little gacha machine in the corner, with the gacha ranging from $2-4 for a spin. Overall, the space is kept nice and tidy, and would probably make a good study spot for students. Their menu is extensive, so I imagine everyone can find something they like here!

Very convenient location outside the skytrain station! The drinks are very yummy and well made! A lot of comfortable seating. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because we had to wait over 15 minutes for our 2 drinks!!! They must get a lot of online orders. I can see the two workers were working nonstop. I think they need to hire another person to keep up with the demand.

I order brown sugar coffee jelly oolong milk tea in large with 30% sugar and no ice on the menu it says 7.99 for large. but when I look at the receipt it charges you 8.29 for large 7.99 plus Gst .41 is 8.40 but not just that why do we get charges .30 cent for asking no ice on our drink . Where does it say on the menu if we ask for no ice we get charges. I ask the girl she just told me because you ask for no ice .

I ordered Uber eats last night and I received the incorrect order and missing items. I ordered 2 corn dogs where as I only received 1 and the bubble waffle I received wasn't even oreo, it was original. Unacceptable!

We enjoyed checking out Gong Cha Renfrew for a special Yelp Elite Event! 🎉 This location is super convenient — right across from the Renfrew SkyTrain Station — making it an easy stop for a bubble tea fix.

We received a complimentary drink and snack as part of the event. We chose their most popular items!

🥤Milk Tea with Grass Jelly
I always go for 50% sugar & 50% ice—the perfect balance for me! The milk tea was smooth and creamy, but the grass jelly was a little too soft for my taste. I was hoping for a stronger herbal kick!

🧇 Matcha Bubble Waffle
It was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and packed with matcha flavour - Just how we like it! It was as good as ever.

Their seasonal drinks looked tempting. We also grabbed a Strawberry Matcha with Milk Foam 🍓🍵 — WOW! It was super refreshing! The added strawberry jelly gave it a nice fruity touch. Making it onto our favourites list.

💡 A little feedback:
While I loved the variety, their promo posters were everywhere — if we counted right, there were 18 posters around the counter! 🤯 It felt a little overwhelming. Maybe focusing on just a few key promos would make browsing easier for customers.

🙌 Huge thanks to Gong Cha Renfrew for hosting such a fun event! And a shoutout to CM Anushka for the great organization and the handy Yelp Elite swag (a Cellphone Silicone Suction Cup Phone Mount - pretty cool!).

We are already looking forward to my next visit! 😍🍹
