Was sad to hear that Good Dogs would be closing their physical location, but they'll still be around the downtown core with their food truck and carts! I used my Plant Curious coupon for lunch. We shared their Hand Cut Herb & Garlic Fries and two dogs (Steak 'N Cheese Sando and the Kracken). Everything we had was good! The Kracken was the better of the two dogs; the onion jam was excellent and the chips as a topping added a nice textural crunch! The cheese in the Steak 'N Cheese could've been more plentiful and melty. Good amount of fries and their wonderful rosemary aioli.Service was very friendly! When we dined in for lunch, there was only one individual taking orders, doing FOH and making the food. However, they made sure everyone was taken care of despite doing it all! When we left, another staff member had recently arrived. Would recommend, and looking forward to trying their other plant-based dogs in the future at their mobile locations! They also have gluten-friendly buns for those with dietary restrictions!

After a stressful journey home, my friends decided that we wanted to eat here at this restaurant, and we were blown away by how good the food was, I ordered a chilli cheese dog and my friends ordered some kimchi fries with some hummus, my hotdog was cooked to perfection and was really delicious, but i believe that there is something that should be added to the menu, I believe that there should be more meat options available as it would make this restaurant even better, but for now I can just enjoy what I get from here, so now I’m paying my dog to get food from here to deliver it to my apartment

Can we talk about how much of an ATROCITY this restaurant is? First of all and the worst part of this restaurant is that they do not serve meat, which is literally important for survival and I need milk in my diet, which they also refused to sell, meat and dairy is literally important in a humans diet and yet they only serve nuts and vegetables! (Fun fact, it’s ableist to not give an autistic person their food if it has those things, so not providing any of those things like meat and dairy is ableism) but it’s not just the staff here who act like animals, the guests act much worse, they are just a bunch of ice skating snowmen who lick hockey sticks and make protests about how “eating animals is wrong” EVEN THOUGH ITS LITERAL NATURE. Theese guests were so bad that they even brought an entire bathtub filled with rabbit food and said that this is what people should eat, I was so horrified that I ran out of the restaurant and never came backVegetarian options: Honestly who the hell thought it was a good idea to invent vegan options? They should be removed entirely because they are taking away food from autistic people just so blue haired girls with pronouns can force their agenda onto children

I finally visited this place yesterday after passing it by for years and its food exceeded my expectations. Really, what do you expect from a hotdog, especially knowing that it's vegan? Probably not much. However, they are super delicious here. And the right sauce makes a lot of difference. So far I have tried The Kraken Dog and The Hail Seitan. Both are great. And on top of that they have poutine tasting just perfect.

Food is kind of disappointing. I do not understand where the high reviews score came from. Service is great. Ambience is quirky and cool.

What a fun place! The decor is cute and the hot dogs are great! We had the dill dog and the kraken dog. The one thing I didn't like about the dill dog was the kale was just raw chopped kale. I wish it had been massaged kale instead of raw, and if I was to order the dill dog again, I would ask if they could leave the kale off. The flavours were great though.

On busy Robson Street you'll find this hot dog cafe serving a variety of veg dogs. Warmly welcomed by the owner, I immediately was made to feel at ease. I ordered the Krackin' which had a good spicy kick to it. Served on a fresh whole grain bun, my hot dog arrived with ample toppings and full of flavour. A neighbouring table order oyster mushroom wings and I have to get back to try those. Updated from previous review on 2024-02-15
