I visited Green Leaf Sushi on West Broadway during my stay in Vancouver and would definitely go back. The sushi is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The cozy, relaxed vibe adds to the charm. Prices are a bit higher, but the quality and service make it worth it. Highly recommend for a delicious and enjoyable sushi experience.

You should adjust your posted hours to 9:30 p.m., since that’s when the kitchen really closes. I was denied the chance to place an order. Why advertise a 10 p.m. closing time if customers are turned away 30 minutes early? Keep this in mind if you plan to visit this restaurant.

This is my new favorite sushi place in Kitsilano, great oshi sushi! I’ll definitely be back.

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant in Vancouver. I eat here about once a week lol. Must try the red dragon roll and the salmon oshi!

Green Leaf Sushi on West Broadway is a gem in Kitsilano for anyone who loves aburi or oshi-style rolls. The sushi here is always fresh and beautifully presented — every plate looks like it belongs on Instagram. The Salmon Oshi and Aburi Tuna are my personal favorites — perfectly seared, rich in flavor, and melt-in-your-mouth good.
The restaurant itself has a relaxed, cozy vibe with a modern touch. Staff were friendly and attentive, though service can be a bit slow during peak hours (understandable, since it’s a popular spot). Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality and presentation make it worth it for a nice sushi night out.
Overall, Green Leaf Sushi delivers consistent quality, creative rolls, and a satisfying experience. Not perfect, but easily one of the better sushi places along West Broadway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something a little different than your typical sushi spot.

This is. avery creepy-looking restaurant that has wobbly tables (loose at the structure, not uneven ground) and questionable cooking methods.
While it was reasonably clean (for a scary-dated place), I eel like the sushi tasted off... the sear tasted like old oil/frying pan and the rice was not sushi-grade... The sashimi itself was crisp and delicious, yet the breaded fish tasted worse than my mom's cooking...
I was hoping the food would make up for the scary interior, but it did not. In fact, I felt bloated till the next morning after the meal. There are far better alternatives all over the city.

I always order from here, very good customer service and delicious food!
Love green leaf sushi for their aburi! This time the aburi wasn't as good, but the other things in the set (The Green leafer) surprised me! Great quality and service overall. Can usually get quite busy but I went when they just opened.

Wish I could give them negative stars from how awful the sushi and sashimi were. Everything was essentially inedible. Ordered the platter for 2 with additional nigiri and sashimi. The nigiri was so bad, I literally felt like I was gona throw-up trying to eat it. The tempura was fried fish fillet and if that doesn’t tell you all you need to know.. anyway, ironically that was maybe the only edible thing on our table. The nigiri and sashimi were horrible. The sushi rolls, not sure what was going on with all the sauces on them and in them, and cream cheese… why!??
Was so unfortunate as we had guests visiting and wanted to treat them to decent sushi! For a city that offers a lot of good sushi, we didn’t think it could be this bad. If you actually like sushi and sashimi, this isn’t it. Confused as to why and how this place is rated highly.

I thought I was ordering from Green Leaf on the North shore. This place has really yucky food. The sushi and salads were all unappetizing.

Came here for dinner last night and we didn’t have to wait for a table for 2. The variety of dishes is great and I specially liked their salmon sashimi salad. Their Aburi was also pretty good! The food was brought out pretty quick as well, which is good if you’re super hungry. Great spot for a quick sushi dinner if you’re in the area.
