Such a hidden gem! This is a great breakfast/brunch restaurant in the West End. The Lox Bagel is the best in the city in my opinion. The coffee options are also really great. They have a small grocery style room upstairs where you can buy pasta, seasonings, tea and more. Anytime someone visits us, we bring them here!

Egg-cellent brunch place! I ordered the eggs in purgatory (tasted like shakshouka) and a oat flat white. My friend ordered Florentine Benedict and mocha. Our drinks took a while to come which the server realized herself, apologized for and then didn't charge for it. So a big, big kudos for that. The realization of it and how they managed it. We were both very happy with our drinks. Tasted great!
My friend was very happy with his dish but I was not because they ask how you want your poached eggs and I mentioned soft but it was almost hard (yolk was not runny at all). I wanted to visit this place for a long time just to try this and the benedict and I never like it when any place overcooks poached eggs coz I absolutely love the runny yolk. anyway, I didn't bring it up to the servers as they were already super busy.
Having said everything, I have given 5 stars since I am happy overall with my meal here and I definitely will come back again to try other dishes, particularly the mushroom Benedict.

When the staff tells you the granola is the best granola you'll ever have, they aren't joking. We ended up coming here twice on our weekend trip as the service was great and the food was worth it.

We didn't actually eat there because we got there at 2.50 and the hostess said last call at 2.45 and the kitchen is closed, today Friday 13th Dec. The online menu says service until 3pm so please clarify this and update online menu accordingly. It's very frustrating.

Came here for a quick brunch, and had the salmon benny. I’ve had bennys at more upscale places, and they did not compare to this one.
I loved the location, atmosphere, and service.

My girlfriend and I came here today, we were looking for a new cute place to go have brunch but unfortunately a let down.
We waited for 20+ mins for our food, my ham croissant was burnt and dry, she ordered the salmon egg Benedict and tasted mediocre.
We both are experiencing food poisoning…

Went there for a warm coffee after a museum visit. Very cute spot in a lovely area of Vancouver. Great service and ambiance. We enjoyed the walk to the water after all and felt safe in the streets.

Coffee was delicious, and i also loved the artistic decoration
Cool hidden gem in downtown west end. I had their bacon eggs benny and it was great. The sundried tomatoes was a nice touch. Atmosphere was nice and clean service was friendly. They also sell to go items like pasta and local breads.
Suggest to go on weekday daytime as its less busy and you will get a seat right away.

Greenhorn Cafe is a hidden gem in Vancouver! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing coffee break or a casual brunch with friends. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
The menu offers a great variety of options, from delicious pastries to hearty breakfast dishes. I highly recommend trying their avocado toast and the freshly baked croissants – they are simply divine! The coffee is top-notch, with a rich, smooth flavor that keeps you coming back for more.
Overall, Greenhorn Cafe is a fantastic spot with great food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting ambiance. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
