Their lunch special is always a good bang for your buck and the food here is always mouthwateringly delicious. However, I’ve noticed the portion sizes shrink significantly compared to before. The umakara ribeye looked like someone stole half of it before serving (it’s the browner looking one in the photo). They seem to compensate by giving you a generous portion of rice though!

I had an amazing experience at Gyu-Kaku thanks to the incredible service from our server, Shandesh. He was kind, friendly, and professional throughout one of the best servers I’ve ever had! Even when we brought our own wine and needed to pay a corkage fee, he handled it with such grace and made us feel completely welcomed.
