Vibe is great, people are sweet & the food is so good! Definitely going to become a regular spot for me!
The decor was also so cool!

The service here is non-existent! We drove in just to go to this place, and we called ahead to see if we could reserve they didn't answer we thought that's fine we'll just show up and when we showed up turns out the entire restaurant is reserved for private event. Wasting our time coming into the city. When I called them they don't answer and they're answering machine even said we're not going to call you back. That is not service. If you're going to rest on your laurels at least make sure those laws are good.

Randomly chose to visit Hail Mary’s on an in-town adventure night with my partner - and we both had a very fun time.

The in-house made chips were very tasty, and the drinks we had were absolutely wonderful. By coincidence, we had stumbled in on Bingo Night and the atmosphere was amazing throughout.

Highly recommend popping in for a drink - or chip or two - if you find yourself near by!

I’ve been looking forward to trying this place out for such a long time and had a terrible experience with my friend. My friend and I order a drink and looked at the menu. We were already getting a weird vibe but didn’t let that ruin anything until we ordered four things in total to try which she stopped us and pointed out that it was a lot for two people and gave us a very distasteful look. We said we know but anything we don’t eat we’ll take home and we clarified that we would love to try out the food here which she seemed annoyed by the business we were bringing and told me not to order so much because they had a new chef and shouldn’t overwhelm him and should be considerate. I’m sorry but I didn’t know and it feel like we were being fat shamed at this establishment. Truly terrible and felt awful after coming here. I regret spending money here and even tipping. I felt like if I didn’t tip that we’d get yelled at and judging from the other reviews on here it was a valid fear haha

Ignore all other reviews, the staff run a tight ship and I respect it. Food is amazing (particularly the nachos), cocktails are great and the vibe and aesthetic are the best in town. Easily in the top 5 bars in Vancouver

The very name of this establishment, "Hail Mary," serves as a fitting prelude to the disaster that awaits those unfortunate enough to dine here. Indeed, it seems the moniker was chosen as a desperate plea for success, a plea that, judging by our experience, has gone entirely unanswered.

A simple, courteous request for a glass of water without ice was blatantly ignored. A polite inquiry to change tables to accommodate an additional friend was met with cold indifference. The crowning indignity came when my friend was physically shoved aside, an act so egregious that it left us all in utter disbelief.

The owner, Haley White, took it upon herself to serve our table, though “serve” is far too generous a word. Lacking even the most basic understanding of service, gratitude, or hospitality, she seems more intent on running her restaurant with an iron fist of rudeness and contempt. Needless to say, we will never return, nor will our friends, and we will make it our mission to warn everyone in Vancouver of this catastrophe disguised as a restaurant.

Very disappointing experience. Since I last visited this place a few years ago, I was excited to suggest this place to my friends to grab a drink together. However, we didn’t even get to come inside because we were “greeted” by the most rudest hostess I have ever seen. As we walked in, she asked us to go back outside and wait in the rainy stormy Vancouver weather despite not anyone else standing at the front area. We didn’t say anything and simply stepped outside. That wasn’t all, as we stepped outside, she looked at us and said with the most rudest voice we wouldn’t get a table if we “look like that at her”. We left immediately. We would not tolerate customer service like this. We were not even able to say a single word but got such rude disgusting treatment. I have never been treated like that in Vancouver. I cannot imagine someone would want to go in after such treatment.

Ruined the whole Friday night experience with my girlfriends on our birthday night out. Blond server/hostess told us to wait outside even though the restaurant was empty and we didn’t even say what we want. We just wanted to sit at the bar for a quick drink. We quietly agreed to wait outside in the rain, however she stated” if we look at her like that we would not get seated ” and shut the door in front of us. I have been at this place before but will never come back again and spent a single dollar. I will make sure my friends know about this kind of service in Vancouver.

the hostess at the entrance told us to wait outside when it was pouring rain and the place was empty, we were ok with that but she said “if you gonna look at me like that, I’m not gonna sit you at all” .
The service is horrible, not gonna spend my money and time at such place and people.

Terrible service. Female server with tattoos and dark hair was unfriendly and didn’t check on us what so ever. Won’t come back
