Absolutely delicious Vietnamese food! There wasn't a single dish we weren't totally pleased with. From the pho, to the spring rolls, to the rice rolls, to the jellyfish, to the bùn, to the coffee.Even items I normally won't touch, like blood sausage, were really tasty here.Service was super nice. The kitchen is small so there is a bit of a wait for some of the order but we hardly noticed because they had such good timing with dishes. Really fresh taste with what seem like good quality ingredients. And I have to mention the pickled garlic available on the table was an awesome addition! Never had that anywhere else and it really made things pop even more. Personally, the crab and pork spring rolls were the star of the meal. I'm not usually a huge spring roll person, but dang were they GOOD.Portions were very generous and easily filled up 4 adults.Normally, we can't finish everything but here? Not a doggie-bag in sight. We all inhaled the food. And excellent egg coffee! I'm so glad to find a place with it :)Don't let the modest exterior fool you, this is some of the best Vietnamese in Vancouver. Why queue up at the place down the block when this place exists?!

Very interesting restaurant, super busy as it’s a small interior. Short line outside to get in during lunch time, and wait was nominal. Once inside the tables are quite spacious considering some of the other restaurants around the area. Lots of locals and repeat clients, dishes were all amazing and good quantity. Overall I would definitely recommend and repeat.

It was my first time trying northern Vietnamese style food. The pho is very different from what I'm used to, and could probably be considered an entirely separate dish instead of a variant. It's apparently very authentic though and the restaurant was packed - it isn't a large dining area. I don't think I'd come back because the cuisine isn't my cup of tea, but I'm glad I tried it at least once. They don't accept credit here, debit or cash only. I found the prices higher than average compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area.

Heard many good things about this restaurant, especially for the bun cha.One friend ordered the bun cha, and I shared the lemon grass chicken and rice with another friend. I liked the presentation of the bun cha on a banana leaf servee with vermicelli, a fried spring roll, and some lettuce. The pork patties were tender and the sauce was the perfect balance of fish sauce and vinegar. I tried a piece of the spring roll and it was also really good. The chicken and rice was also good - the meat was well seasoned and cooked and its nice that they include two pieces of chicken. With an extra bowl of rice is a good sharing size. For $21, I wish a fried spring roll was included. The service was friendly, fast, and food was flavourful. However, the prices are more expensive compared to some of the neighboring Vietnamese restaurants on Victoria Drive. Was also a bit dissapointed they did not have many pho options on the menu, but I guess they want to make sure their specialties are offered which isn't a bad thing!

Excellent . Food was delicious, and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The egg coffee is a must try along with the jellyfish salad. 10/10, would come back any time.

Got the rice rolls and the crab spring roll vermicelli. Preferred the rice rolls more but the springs rolls were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The rice rolls skin is delicate and thin but would have loved to have more fillings (might have been intentionally little though to stay authentic)

Bought two orders of their highly rated chicken wings appetizers at $15 each through skip the dishes and was surprised how quickly I received order in just under 30 minutes (red flag there) Upon delivery I noticed it was missing the side vinegar pepper sauce which usually comes with this dish (also shown in their menu pictures)I immediately called them to ask if they forgot to add this item and was told it was not included and that picture was old. Had I known this I would’ve ordered elsewhere - and I should have because the wings were tasteless and coated with what seemed like minced cornflakes. I’m no chef but I’m sure I could’ve made better wings, and to make matters worse there was only 8 pieces! Do yourself a favour and order your wings from a restaurant down 2 blocks that’s famous for their fish cake soup (Bun Cha…) . Not only will you get more pieces but you’ll also get dipping sauce and minced garlic, scallions and pepper too for the same price!

Great Hanoi flavors but it's super overpriced for what it is. Service is subpar considering we went around 2pm. It wasn't busy at all but they're not very attentive. $18/bowl of noodles that has barely any meat in it....I would recommend going to Linh Cafe instead if you're paying this price for Hanoi Pho.$9 for egg coffee is just ridiculous.Definitely better choices for this price point on Victoria Drive for Vietnamese food!

Really really good food and such friendly and helpful service. This place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We got the fish cake noodle soup (added the garlic, as recommended by one of the ladies), crabmeat spring rolls and vermicelli, and an egg coffee. I would recommend all these dishes, can't wait to go back and try more!

It's a nice place, cute vibe that would be good for a date night. Prices are a little more than some of the other Vietnamese around but not outrageous by any means.

We had order 2pho noodles, one beef and one chicken. The portion was very small for $18 for a bowl of pho and there was only few pieces of meats shatter at bottom of the bowl( like they chopped in small pieces). Look like I ordered chicken pho without chicken. Beef pho without beef…Lol…Quality of the chicken was bad. I can taste the freezer burn from the chicken meats. Not worth to come back when not much of food selections and the quality of food was bad. Only 3 tables inside were near by restaurants people was lining up outside for the table. We just wanted to try some authentic Gsnoi food… but turn out very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone …the deco and layout is very cheesy …they try to be authentic…but of course didn’t taste anything like at all. Oh… if I would ever come back if I can just order the garlic… lol

My favorite North Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver. Portion is big and service is excellent. I highly recommend “bun cha Ha Noi” (Grilled Pork Belly & Vermicelli) and Steam Rice Rolls. Rice rolls are thin and smooth, but still full of toppings. Bun cha comes with crunchy crabmeat spring rolls, grilled pork belly and fresh herb. I personally prefer dipping the rice rolls in the bun cha’s fish sauce which is made from pork bone broth so the flavor is richer and more tasty. Definitely will come back trying more other dishes!!!

I have been craving Cha ca since my last trip to Hanoi before the pandemic. I am so happy I found this place. I am very pleased with their version of Cha Ca at Hanoi Old Quarter restaurant. The chicken pho is also very flavourful and it came with donut and egg. I spiced it up with fresh red chillies that they provided. The pickled garlic is also very nice addition.I also ordered the claypot beef stew which came with delicious vietnamese baguette. The egg coffee ☕️ is too good! The decor and customer service is 10/10.Parking available on the side streets.Overall, highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic food from Hanoi!

Likely the most authentic restaurant for Northern Vietnamese food.Banh cuon, Cha ca, Bun Thang are usually our favorites. Always our go-to place when we’re too lazy to cook and want Vietnamese food ✌?✌?✌?
