They were so nice and friendly. I wasn't feeling well and needed a lemon drink and even though they didn't have anything that might help in their menu they did their best to provide me with something that can help me. They also swicthed one of the TVs just for me to watch the Turkish game. Even though i couldnt eat too much we also loved the food.
I live on Marinaside and this is my go-to place for happy hour food, great food and great service. I suggest try every item on the happy hour menu, especially the ebi mayo, the fried lotus roots, and the curry beef stone pot rice. The chicken taco is great too.

I had heard great things about the food but I was disappointed. The salmon oshi tasted nothing like what I've had at other places, I couldn't even finish it. Overall overpriced for the atmosphere. No toilet paper in the restroom.

Not even busy and rushed me out with brining me my bill and clearing my table while I still had a drink. No line, no wait. Felt awkward and weird.

We stumbled upon Hapa Izakaya while staying in Yaletown and I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere was cool and the food was incredible. We ordered a handful of items to share and our favourites were the Hapa Roll, Paper Bag Prawns, and the Jalapeño Hamachi Carpaccio, but honestly everything was incredible. We will definitely come back next time we’re in Vancouver!

Food was good, the avocado dip was amazing, would come back for it. The carpaccio was also fabulous, easily one of the best raw fish dish ive had. The sold shell crab was unique and delicious, the oshi was mediocore, ive had better and the wings were carried by the sauce, chicken was tuff and dry, the sauce was delicious. Service was good, however the atmosphere is interesting, music is very loud, and very weird.
