Kind of sad they closed the Nelson location but it looks like you can order on Uber Eats or for catering! The only thing I order from here is the Jerk Chicken, which is a surprising offering for a gluten-free breakfast/brunch place but it is the best jerk chicken I've had locally. There is a perfect amount of sauce and the chicken is marinated in lots and lots of those warm spices. Their rice and peas is amazing and so good covered in the jerk sauce. Portion is quite large...

Heirs Pears advertises themselves as being 100% gluten-free. As someone who has coeliac disease, I enjoy being able to relax into a food experience that has such a sense of safety. Their food is great from their branches to their baked goods. Location is awesome and it is a pleasant atmosphere. My one complaint is that my friend went to get what she thought was a gluten-free beer. She offered me some and I happened to look at the label, and it was not gluten-free. It was barley-based....

Food here is delicious, loved having a dedicated gluten free restaurant since I have celiac disease.

But the real star of the show is the CHEF, what a kind and wonderful human. He absolutely had us cracking up! Highly recommend this restaurant, the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich was delicious.

Also, do yourself a favour and get a mocha while you’re there! Thank you for the wonderful meal!
