The Food Villain

I have been curious for a while to try this comfort-fine dining experience. I found the flavors interesting, although I believe that more complex could be achieved on the dishes. What I missed was some flavor intensity that would make my food more memorable.Probably my favorite dish was the fried chicken and the dips that came with it were well-thought.My minced pork belly bowl was interesting. The pasta in my friend's dish were al-dente. I recognize the effort and the vision here. What is missing for me is some details that could make this experience even better.

I ordered takeout when I stayed at downtown Airbnb. The foie gras was fabulous! It tastes so well combined with their unique sauce.

All the comments that says this place is good is dead accurate! The Foie Gras bowl was amazing. Best meal we had in Vancouver. Portion is really good! Great food, and super instagramable

Super Rude and a Big Zero for the Service. Not recommended at all. the resturant was empty no customer, they guy had no idea if there an online order, when asked for picking up he surprisingly with a very unprofessional attitude said come after 20 minutes, although the timing was already completed. I think there is always good ways and bad ways of doing something and what I saw from that guy was absolutely not good.

What an incredible hidden spot! Fresh ingredients, extremely generous toppings, and so elevated and delicious. The fact that it’s also fast and the price is unbeatable… my new favourite in

I discovered this restaurant on Instagram by chance. I was intrigued by their scallop Douglas crab meat risotto and classic slider especially after reading positive reviews online. Despite the heavy rain tonight, we still decided to drive there. The restaurant looked dimly lit from the outside, but luckily we saw a small light with "Open" written on it. Inside, it was quite dark.Though the restaurant had some seats, I wouldn't recommend dining in, especially in winter or rainy weather, as it appeared misty and dark. Back home, I opened the meal box, and the scallop crab meat risotto had a nice texture with a rich aroma. The seafood was fresh. The slider patty was perfectly cooked, and the meat was juicy. and the mayo was just right. Overall, a positive experience. I’ll be back to try different dishes.

I visited this place today based on tik tok recommendations and oh my, the food was amazing. The staffs are incredible, they were so cautious about my sesame allergy preferences and endured my salmon bowl was just perfect. I was so full after brunch I needed a nap! Thank you. Definitely coming back.Dietary restrictions: Sesame allergy was considered

The place was completely empty when I went, I sort of didn't care since I was eating alone. It was off putting they didn't take cash... Food came fast, service wasn't particularly great, I got the fois Gras minced pork truffle bowl. The fois Gras was good and flavourful, but everything else was fairly bland. Was honestly disappointed considering Parking is basically impossible but I didn't want to take it home and it eat cold.

Such a great option for fancy food without the fancy restaurant or price tag. I love this concept so much and I had a fantastic meal experience. They have so many great options to choose from and everything is super affordable because of their takeout model. Ordering was very easy and quick. We did wait a bit for our food but that was reasonable. Everything is made to order and you can see the kitchen. There's also a lot of seating for dining in. The space is also very nicely decorated and they have a really cool egg cutlery holder which was fun.

We came for a quick dinner. There's 2 communal tables where you can enjoy the food if you decide to eat in. Most people get take out here. I saw a lot of takeout orders (pick up and order in person). The food gets prepared really fast.We got the supreme bowl which comes with 1 piece of foie gras, bone marrow ($36.85), Canadian striploin and sauteed mushroom and the shrimp & crab creamy linguini ($22.85).The supreme bowl was definitely supreme. The foie gras was creamy and didn't have a strong flavour. The bone marrow was flavourful. The striploin was a bit disappointing. It was chewy and overcooked. The fried rice on the other hand was delicious. It was well seasoned and sweet. Very addictive. I felt like the striploin was unnecessary. The shrimp and crab creamy linguini was really good. There was A LOT of dungeness crab. The noodles were okay but the cream sauce was really well flavoured and went well with the crab. I would get this again if I was craving a crab pasta.I can see why so many people get take out from here. It is definitely on the pricier side but the portions are not bad and the flavours are pretty good.

My only complaint is how the heck I didn't know about you for the last couple years. You need a bigger brighter sign. Now to the food. Hands down the best pickup I've had in Kits. Portions and quality are awesome. Loved all four dishes we ordered. Staff was nice as well. Check this place

Visited this small, cosy place today. The foie gras was delicious. Perfect frying and delicate flavour. All the flavours of the dishes were delicate and competently seasoned. Service is very cultural and caring. The guys are awesome!
