Great Friendly staff. Loved the California Rolls. Bottled Water $1.90 compare to others $2.00 a bottle. Finally, had the chance to dropped in for the sushi! Dynamic Rolls, California rolls $7.50 reasonable prices. Fresh, very good! Will be back for the Teriyaki Don Bowl!

A friendly owner and affordable price and always delicious food! We grabbed some foods to go and enjoyed it near English Bay—it was perfect. The hot food rice with bulgogi is absolutely the best♡ Highly recommend stopping by!

Worst sushi I've ever had. Worse than sushi you can get in the middle of the country

I work in downtown and I have been to this place for many times and I have never been disappointing with food quality! Hiro Bento is one of my favorite menus and very reasonable price. Love the people who work here as well!!

Unfortunately this place is awful. The food is extremely bland, the rice tastes terrible, and the portion was small for the kappa maki. They had OK service, not polite but not overtly rude. Has to ask for wasabi and soy sauce in my to go and the wasabi had a string in it…. Threw half my order out. Do not recommend.

The lady that runs the place is so sweet, and the food especially the rice bowls are super affordable and delicious.

Also the food here feels to be on a more home like-vibe and has that heathy quality to it. I recommend it 👍

I am so glad this place is still open! I remember eating here almost daily back Whalen I was student. My favourite is Korean BBQ and Bibimbap! Delicious every time!

I apologize, but this was the worst sushi I have ever had. I understand that this is not a fancy restaurant and is known for its value, but it tasted worse than T&T. The sushi cuts were a mess and were falling apart, and I don’t understand why there was lettuce in the dynamite roll. The sushi rice was under-seasoned, making it taste like plain rice. Even worse, the rice in the nigiri was warm. The lady owner is very kind, but the person preparing the food seems not suited for the job.

Excellent staff, rearranged tables and chairs for me and my friends to fit all of us. I didn’t order anything, and because all my friends were eating they gave me some food on the house. 12/10 amazing staff will 100% come here again when I’m in the area.
