We ordered the Grilled Beef With Rice and Chicken & Beef Ball noodles soup. The seasoning is amazing, especially for the Pho. I would say, this is the best Pho I’ve tried in Vancouver. The grilled beef is really tender and juicy.

Had the bun mam tom and that was pretty good although the vermicelli portion was rather small. The spring rolls, although they look good, were not. The filling tasted very undercooked - mushy and very softy. It was weird tasting.

The place is not big and feels like a modest, family-run business. Their dishes are unique and taste excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I’d definitely come back to try some of their other popular items

The customer service is horrible bad. They don’t know how to treat their client at all. They touch me and my private stuff without my permission. Don’t recommend it at all. Such a cheap people.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The dishes were delicious, full of authentic Vietnamese flavor, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, taking time to check in with us and make sure everything was perfect. It felt like eating at a friend’s home. I highly recommend trying this place — it’s definitely worth a visit!

I ordered the duck noodle soup aka. bun mang vit. The duck was overcooked cause it was dry. The vermicelli noodle soup broth was on the bland side. The portion size was average. It tasted disappointing so I'm surprised it was one of the most popular dishes here.
The best bun mang vit I've ever had in Vancouver was at Thai Hang on Kingsway which has now been relocated to another spot on Kingsway but only serves banh mi. The search continues.
The menu price shown for bun mang vit was $18 but the owner punched in $20 on point of sale terminal. This is illegal but I didn't bother raise my concern as I don't plan to return, so watch out for hidden charges.
Response to owner: I hope you can still laugh after I file a credit card chargeback for fraud. 😂
Response to owner 2: Your menu clearly stated $18 for bun mang vit. Enjoy your chargeback. Hahahahahaha
A Vietnamese restaurant serving Northern-style dishes. The name “Hoa Phượng” comes from the famous flower of Hải Phòng city. The restaurant also offers various Vietnamese drinking snacks and side dishes like chicken salad and stir-fried pork intestines.
I’ve visited several times and tried dishes like duck bamboo noodle soup and chicken rice. The food quality can be a bit inconsistent, but overall quite tasty and authentic. The only downside is that the restaurant is small, and parking is limited to nearby side streets.
I hope more people discover this place—it’s a good spot for those who enjoy traditional Vietnamese flavors.

Wandered into this spot on a late night craving for pho and this did more than just hot the spot. It exceeded expectations. The broth was fragrant and flavorful without leaving your mouth thirsty or dry from msg or powdered seasonings. One sip and its obvious they make this with slow intent. The owner happened to be there and confirmed their process of cooking down beef, bones and fresh herbs. The other unexpected surprise was their spring roll. Omg, light, crispy, and flaky skin unlike regular egg rolls. The filling was moist and savory. Honestly, a must try spot I would highly recommend!

We ordered the signature original mixed rice noodles and egg noodles in soup, slowbraised duck leg mixed rice noodles and egg noodles in soup, deep fried squids cake, calamansi salted plum soda. The foods as usual and are ok. Nothing is very special.

Had a great experience at Hoa Phuong Do! The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. Tuan, the owner, was really welcoming and gave us some great recommendations that did not disappoint. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Vancouver and want authentic Northern Vietnamese done right.
