The veggie ramen broth is one of the best in the country and the ramen noodles are always cooked to perfection. Consistently delicious & great service.
The Santouka Ramen Chain is always a solid, this is the benchmark for all ramen in the city (Danbo lovers don't @ me).I opted for the Happy Hour Menu (from 3PM - 6PM) which offers a choice from 3 sides (3 Pieces of Zangi, 3 Pieces of Goro-Niku Gyoza and 3 Pieces of Takoyaki). The ramen in the picture is the Shoyu Ramen which is regular size (they offer a small size which will bring the price down $1, or you can up the size to a large for $1.50).As a firm thin noodle lover, I have no complaints with the ramen quality. The broth was incredibly rich and the Char Siu is soft and flavorful. You definitely need to opt in for the Ajitama soft boiled egg as I genuinely think it's probably one of the best in the city. The Zangi is decent, but the Gyoza is a must order.Note that the restaurant does not allow outside foods for celebratory birthday cakes.
The takoyaki tastes pretty good, just as authentic as it looks, not soggy and can last max for 24 hours inside the fridge for the breakfast.

Comfortable seating and nice food. It wasn't packed with people when we visited after work on a weekday. My friend and I were small eaters and the combo was good enough for us.

Amazing broth! The flavouring is on point. The food comes out fast and hot and delicious. The staff are always cheerful and attentive. The only drawback is the miserable lack of parking, even without the massive construction going on atm.

Nice, delicious, flavourful ramen place. I’d recommend getting extra pork in your ramen for a full tummy! The spicy broth and miso broth are great. Super super fast service and very friendly! We will be back.

This ramen was really delicious! I had the shio chashu ramen, and I highly recommend it. The Takoyaki is also very good here, and the staff who work here are attentive and friendly, and all around great.

Staff get you seated very quickly and are very friendly. Everything was very tastie, but I definitely was not a fan of the bamboo shoots. Don't have anything bad to say about this place, and I would probably come back.Parking: The parking in front of the restaurant is closed due to construction. We had to park a street down and walk.
I really liked this, great on those rainy cloudy Vancouver

The Santouka Super Combo was perfect. Nice salty ramen, great rice and roe, with a sweet Japanese Cream Soda Float. Delicious!

Simple, but really good ramen.

Not the best ramen I tried. The noodle tastes instant and the broth has a slight stench of meat and is not very rich. The egg is not fully marinated and is overcooked. Quality could be improved a lot, and is not on par with other great ramen restaurants in Vancouver like Danbo or Marutama. The combo is also not worth since the rice bowl is mostly rice with small bits of salmon and chashu sprinkled on top.
