I went with my friends tonight The place was really good, the table was a bit small for a group of 5 but we did it. We ordered 4 dishes, and it filled all of us. Chicken, pork belly, seafood soup, and a pork meet plate. Very affordable price, and we tried a bit of everything If you don't know too much about Korean food, I think it is a good place to start. Also, the portions are big enough to 2 people
The environment and shop was good. But the kimchi soup is too intense and salty.
Scallion salad, onion mix etc aren’t the best tho.

Hongdae Pocha is my go to korean restaurant. Their food is never disappointed, I really like the bbq pork. All the servers are really helpful, especially Claire, she is really nice and friendly. Overall this place is really great.

We got the Korean Army hot pot $32 for two of us. Very delicious. I can’t handle too much heat but this was the right amount of spicy!
The only thing I didn’t like is that the portions are huge so we didn’t get to try anything else. There was a lot on the menu sounded good so it’s better to go in a bigger group. We originally wanted to order pork belly to bbq but they told us it was minimum 2 orders so it’d be $30x2?

The music is a bit loud, but the atmosphere is great. I feel like I came on a trip to Korea
Sat us upstairs away from everyone because we weren’t Korean lol. Upstairs was empty while everybody else was downstairs, felt isolated, and sad. Before we sat upstairs the waitress asked his boss before approaching us (assuming asking where to sit us). We ended up just leaving after this happened.
It was so delicious! I highly recommend it ☺️ In particular, the staff explained things well and were friendly, so I was able to enjoy the meal ?? Thank you to the lovely staff
