I was hungry and needed something fast for take out. I was the 3rd in line and waited about 5-10 mins for my order. Not that quick after all. I had the ahi tuna Yuzu rice bowl. The first thing I noticed was the greens and brown layer. Where was the tuna? Instead of the usual poke bowl where individual item was placed by section, they sprinkled the tuna over the bowl then covered with the greens. I would say it was quite skimpy on the tuna. My favourite Poke shop! The man who works there regularly is always super friendly, sweet and goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. Very delicious food and tons of different options for dietary restrictions. Most Poke places in the area are Japanese style but Hula is one of the only Hawaiian style ones I’ve found. I grabbed a lava coffee without knowing what I would be in for. Oh man, this is most unique and delicious thing I've had in a while. Although on the sweeter side, the coconut milk was amazing in the coffee.
