Hy's Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar

Hy's was recommended to us by a server at another (totally separate) restaurant in town. The recommendation was excellent. Food, wine and service were all best in class. One aspect that drew us in was seeing table side service (preparation) offered. We went a bit overboard and had all three courses prepared at our table. Our server Chris handled it all in stride including assisting with wine selections. The have an excellent wine list so his experience led to perfect choices. The food was delicious and enhanced seeing it prepared just for us. We are only in town for a few nights but are definitely going back to enjoy more of Hy's hospitality and hope to enjoy Chris' impeccable service again.

I hadn't been to Hy's for over 20 yrs. My partner had never been so I took him for his birthday. We had another couple join us too. I had indicated on the reservation that it was a birthday celebration. Our server acknowledged the birthday when she first came to our table. We had the cheese bread which was alright but not worth $13 in our opinion. Complimentary bread would be nice esp with the price point of the menu. We had a table of 8 behind us and that made the ambiance & noise level not what I remembered Hy's for (too loud). No complimentary/celebratory dessert offered. This was quite disappointing, and it turns out the husband of the friends that came with us actually spoke with our server when I went to the bathroom and asked if they would be doing something special for my partners birthday. Our server said that they don't normally do that at highs. But she did go ahead and bring a piece of cheesecake. This is not what I'd expect from Hy's. We won't be going back anytime soon even though the steaks were delicious. My steak was under cooked.

What a fun evening with fantastic tableside performances for both Caesar and bananas Foster. Excellent service, convivial atmosphere and enough delicious rib eye to take home for a salad.

Tried Hy's for the first time. Exceptional service was expected and Dan provided that in heaps! Attentive, funny, helpful with the menu items. Our steaks were cooked to perfection.

Dined on many occasions here, this time our lunch with 4 gents service was a bit off and slow. Small things make a difference: wait staff not as attentive, napkins were not folded when sone one left the table, had to ask for serving utensils each time hen food was served which should be provided without having to ask for it. An absolutely phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. The food was amazing and the service we received from the entire team was impeccable! I highly recommend Hy's to anyone wanting to experience what a proper steakhouse should be! Thank you again for making our evening memorable!

This steakhouse offers a warm and refined atmosphere, with dark, tasteful décor that gives it a polished yet comfortable feel. We stopped in for lunch and were impressed by the quality of the food—crispy, flavorful cheese sticks and a tender, well-seasoned steak kebab that was cooked just right.

Our server was exceptionally friendly and talkative in the best way—engaging and attentive without being intrusive, which really added to the experience.

While it was a lunch visit, the menu prices and overall ambiance suggest a more upscale dining experience, making it a great option for business lunches, special midday outings, or simply treating yourself to something a bit nicer than the usual lunch fare. Overall, a great experience with quality food and standout service.

Food is great. I recommend the lamb.

We made a reservation and had a nice booth on the second floor. Sadly, we found service to be crap. After having bought a bottle of red for a few hundred, the waiter proceeded to knock it over the table and myself mid-course. The bottle was emptied and lost. The restaurant did not comp me a new bottle but did offer to dry clean my jacket. I didn't raise a stink at the time due to my dinner guests attending with me, but this behavior and service was unacceptable. The restaurant manager should've understood what their negligent staff had done and made it right.

Andrew, Tomeia and Jedrick made our son’s 8th bday an extra special one. Warmth welcome from the hostess and exceptional service from the team and spectacular food as always that’s why we love coming back here 😊.

Our first visit to Hy’s, and we love it!! The atmosphere is great, and I love how open the space is, you can see chef cooking steak in the kitchen. Their cheese toast is really classic, and onion soup I like!!👍🏻 Steaks are great, price not too expensive too.

My uncle and I can drop 5 bills here easily. Fantastic surf n' turf and an a wonderful selection of wines.
