100% gluten free & celiac safe. I was so happy to discover this place. The food was delicious & the staff were very friendly. I wish there were more locations in the lower mainland.

Finally ate here after years of wanting to. Had tempura for the first time - so delicious! Such a nice break to order whatever we wanted to. I ate with non-celiac family members and they said it compared to the regular version quite well.

This restaurant is an absolute Gem! Labeled perfectly delicious food friendly service! I didn’t have this in Japan! It’s awesome. I ordered the avocado mango salad it’s delicious! The vegetable miso soup was good the dumpling special was top notch ! I will be back for more!!! Love this place.
Delicious food and friendly staff! Their entire menu is gluten free. This is a great spot for groups of 2-6 people because of their tables and booths.
Their menu has undergone an even more miraculous change to include very obvious vegan, dairy-free, and egg-free options. If you have anyone in your close circle with dietary restrictions due to allergies, I would recommend you check out this awesome restaurant!
In the land of sushi in Vancouver this restaurant hits at a solid okay. I say that because it advertises itself as gluten free which was the main draw for us. We made a reservation which seems like it’s mandatory. The tuna tataki, karaage and tempura we ordered was great. The gyoza was a big let down. It was made with rice paper and resembled an egg roll more but it also fell apart and came stacked on top of each other. I wouldn’t consider them gyoza. The service was okay but once the restaurant was half full it was non existent. Something that most may not care about but I noticed was we all got different plates and there were no side plates for soy sauce or other sauces. Table setting was lack luster. For gluten free it was decent but I hope they continue to work on their GF options into the future.

Gluten-free dedicated Japanese restaurant. Need I say any more?
As a celiac, this place is a dream come true. To walk in and eat anything knowing its safe!. And delicious! Everything I've had has been great and fresh tasting. Will always be in my top spots to stop when I visit Vancouver.

I bring my celiac kiddo here every time we are in Vancouver. The food is amazing. (I can eat gluten and this isn’t “good for GF” it’s just plain good!) Plus it’s so amazing to be able to bring my kid somewhere where they can eat anything on the menu. Thank you!

As a celiac, I've been hearing about this place for a while now, but things just never lined up.
I finally tried it today. Granted, I ordered delivery, so that would change some texture, sure.
However, it doesn't change grey, poor quality tuna, oof.
I got a dynamite roll, and the yam tempura inside had turned into inedible bricks.
Don't even bother ordering the gyoza.
The 2 tsp serving size of gomae was flavourless and overpriced.
As well as charging me an extra dollar to make my age dashi tofu spicy and not including spicy sauce.
An utter disappointment and complete rip off.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills because of all the good reviews... But I can't justify recommending this place or eating here ever again.

Great for celiac friendly, but a little over priced for what you're getting. If you're celiac though you can hammer anything — that's the premium I guess.

Cozy and friendly atmosphere with some excellent food prepared safely for a person with celiac or someone who has any allergy since they are so conscience. The serve was also incredible! All around a top notch establishment and great night!

I can honestly say this place is the BEST. Not just because it accommodates allergies but because anyone I have brought here or introduced to this place has said it is among the best Japanese restaurants in town. Their food is outstanding. I tell everyone I know about this place. I love you guys!! Shout out to Kai for always being so kind and welcoming. :)
