I am a regular here and I happen to love this place. It is super close to my school where I go for almost every week for lunch. The service is amazing, but sometimes I find it really hard to get a table and it is very packed but the food is cheap and amazing and is not take long to come out.
Came here after playing tennis at UBC because we were craving some Japanese food, and it definitely hit the spot. Everything was fresh and delicious, but the salmon tataki was definitely my favorite. The sushi rolls were great too.
The atmosphere is really nice, the location is convenient, and I liked that they have hand sanitizer on every table. It’s a small touch, but it shows they care about cleanliness.

I try salmon oshis from all over the lower mainland. I just tried the salmon oshi and it was pretty great. The salmon was quite thick and chewy. While it was not as smoky and the rice was not that soft, the blend of flavours is quite good. The jalepenos they use are also at a perfect spicy level for a majority of people to enjoy. Additionally, the mayo and terayki blend of sauces on top is not an excessive amount and adds most of the flavour to the roll.
