Amazing experience. We’ve been to Impostori 5-6 times. Each time the food & service is top notch. The atmosphere is not old style Italian, I feel like I’m in a cool resto/bar in Milano or Firenze. We often try the daily specials and have never been disappointed. Sometimes i want to keep this place a secret so that I can always get a table, but that wouldn't be fair to Vancouverites.

Great food starting from the bread course. We knew we were in for a treat right away. We had the bolognese (pasta special), and the osso buco which were both delicious and good portions. The service was friendly and they were very careful with my friend's allergies.

We were gifted a dinner here and were looking forward to trying this place after reading so many positive things online. Its a beautiful room, quiet enough to have a conversation, and we enjoyed the drink menu with Lambrusco on offer.Ordered two pasta dishes with an appy to start. All came out at the same time which was a little disappointing and there wasn’t space on the table for everything which is always a little awkward.Pasta dishes (ravioli & carbonara) were really quite delicious and filling. What killed the vibe was when we declined dessert and were given a scoff by the server who scoffed, checked her watch, and made a remark about us “rushing” out.Unfortunately a sour end to a nice meal coupled with the almost $200 bill that has us questioning if we’d come back. There’s lots of excellent restaurants in Vancouver, no reason to have an unpleasant and overpriced experience.

How does a limited menu restaurant 'run out' of frites at 700 ? But have mashed potatoes on every plate? All the food we ate was good/very good but sour taste to start. The one star or two star wine by the glass is really hookie. Won't tell you the vintage or even the actual grape. Weird. Just a vague description.Service was OK at best. 15 minutes in still, no menus and only $10 a bottle San Palegrino that you have to refil yourselves. Server shocked we didn't have menus when she finally came to take orders. Duh.First tine here specials were amazing, this time meh.Bright spot, server was very clear and concise about setting expectations on what was ordered, which was welconed. Not sure we would rush back.400 bucks for 2 shared appies (no frite), 4 mains, with a bottle and glass of wine.

Restaurantji Recommends
We have been to this restaurant twice now and have to admit it is one of the best places for Italian food in Vancouver. On both occasions we ordered from their daily special menu and everything was amazing especially the fish entree. The chef has the experience and love of cooking which truly shows through the presentation and taste. Service from the front of house and bar equally matched in excellence as well. I have recommended Impostori to friends and colleagues and can't say enough ofour overall dining experience. We will definitely be coming back.Tip: try sitting at the bar which is a great way to know the staff.

My friends and I came here for dinner. One of them had already had dinner here in the past. Two of us never tried it until recently.Their interior design is very nice. Tones, colours, styles, furniture and layout are great. The ambience was very nice. My friends and I could eat and chat here the whole night. You can see the photos that I posted here. Those were what we ordered and ate. We ordered different dishes and shared with each other, so we could try more different flavours. Each dish had its unique presentation and flavour that surprised us. We quite enjoyed all of them especially the lamb chops. The meat was tender and juicy. A couple of dishes were a bit salty, but it was not too bad.The customer service was great! Servers were very friendly and very patient to us because we ordered food at different times of the night and we ate, drank and chatted for a long time. It passed 10pm. The restaurant was supposed to be closed at 10pm but they didn’t rush us to leave. We really appreciate it.There are a few parking stalls at the back of restaurant. Of course there is paid street parking as well.
Parking: A few parking spots at the back of the restaurant
Drinks were great, we sat for 20 min before ordering- then 10 min later were told they can’t put the order through and it would be another half an hour before our salad would arrive. No apology or bread to keep us tied over. Not to mention a glass of wine is 19-50$…..what do we do while we wait? As someone who has worked in the service industry for much of my life, was pretty surprised. I made the reservation awhile back for a special night with my wife and it fell flat. Will not return.
Fantastic food! Spaghetti alle Vongole was as good as in Italy. The quality of meats and cheeses, olives, vegetables and fruit on the antipasto board was fantastic.

A fabulous new neighbourhood restaurant on South Granville @15th. Experienced management and polished service team under Simon Lucken's direction. Its over a year since the restaurant opened and the creative menu has evolved nicely and is well executed. There's a good choice of wines - some reasonably well priced. Very nice outdoor patio at back. Some of the best servers in town have been lured to this restaurant and their professional hospitality shows. The restaurant now offers pre-theatre fixed menus of good value. This is a very popular neighbourhood restaurant and reservations are essential. Worth the visit.
