Restaurant doesn’t exist. There’s a fried chicken place on the location right now.

Very underwhelming vegan thali option. I stopped in for a lunch, seeing that their vegetarian lunch thali could be made vegan. Well, that was sort of true -- the dessert that is usually included has dairy, so they simply left it off (but charged me the same: $16.95 plus tax). On the thali, you get chana masala, aloo gobi, 4 pieces of cucumber (wtf?), and a small spicy pickle, with white basmati rice and tandoori roti. The chana masala was fine, but the aloo gobi tasted like it was reheated from the day or two before -- very soggy and uncool to serve such a thing. Pretty sad, low-effort, low-integrity thali to be honest. Overall, I wasn't impressed at all and will not be returning. Not recommended.

OK food, great service (the waitress PRAV who attended us was so kind and pleasant). We ordered paratha and nan which were good, but the dal makhani was slightly bland to my taste. My friend ordered sweet corn chicken soup and she rates it 3/5. Note:- The utensils can use more cleaning.

Amazing Indian food authentic! Surely recommend the paneer angara and their biryani. The view is amazing right at the heart of English bay, their draft beers are also amazing. Service will be a bit slow because they are always jam packed with orders.

From start to finish. It wasn't good. We had an early event at the convention, but really wanted Indian food. Beeryani offers Indian food, a view, close proximity to where we were and we like Thalis. We waited at their patio for them to open. They opened (they were late) and we still waited for a lonnnnnggggg time to get served/food. It gets better, we ordered our food first but got it last. The Vegetable curry (whatever it is, is frozen bagged veg in sauce). The lentil dish was ok. The rice and naan felt like it was reheated. The dessert was bland. Is Indian food suppose to be bland. I don't think so. Beeryani feels so low effort. It's a shame because their location is so prime.

Great chicken biryani and garlic naan. Located right next to the beach, which was nice.

We stayed in English Bay for an evening and decided to go to Indian food, luckily we found this place around the corner. The food was fantastic! Our server was kind, knowledgeable and attentive...and made EXCELLENT drinks. We went during happy hour so had a few happy hour dishes, lamb (can't recall the name), tikka masala and butter chicken. Their naan was the lightest and most delicate I'd ever had. The basmati rice also very good. The butter chicken was my favorite....creamy and flavorful. My daughter liked the tikka masala....my son loved his lamb dish too. We were very happy this was so close to the hotel and delicious! Inside tip: If you love the taste of the heat but hate the long-burn in your mouth then get the raspberry drink! It instantly calms the burn. My 6 month old granddaughter accidentally got some cross contamination from the hot dish and as soon as she had a splash of the raspberry drink felt better.

If you haven't tried this place before, RUN don't walk. This is by far the best Indian food I've ever eaten. The flavors are so delicious and seasoned perfectly. The butter chicken had a rich thick sauce, the garlic naan is thin and moist, the samosa's were cooked perfectly and the sauce they come with is an experience in itself. These people really know how to cook. I feel like this review doesn't even do it justice.

Lovely ambience + tasty food + great service! We ordered kulcha + chole, stuffed parathas (paneer, gobi, onion) and paneer tikka masala. Every single dish tasted delicious. The best part was minimal use of butter and cream in the curries. Portion sizes were great too.

Why isn't this place more busy? I've been here twice now and both times received excellent service and was served delicious food. Reasonably priced wine and beers, with a few local craft beers on tap. The atmosphere is lively and casual, and the window seats have a view to the ocean. I like the food. Slow cooked goat and lamb curries and stews. Interesting appetizers and perfectly acceptable naan (though I'm not Indian so probably not a good judge of that). My favourite dish is the Goat Bhuna paired with a Four Winds lager. The washrooms are located down a long and shady maze behind the kitchen, which is not ideal but allows a view into the tiny(!) kitchen. Worth the trip just for the adventure.

My goodness, so tasty and really hit the spot! If you like spicy, the honey chili cauliflower is highly recommended. We also ordered the chicken Beeryani, fish curry, goat bhuna, some parathas and naan. Each curry dish has their own distinct flavor profile. We thought the portions were quite generous and had lots of leftovers to take home. Service was friendly and prompt! Casual, clean, inviting ambiance.

Great food, nice, quiet, clean atmosphere. The service was excellent. Every dish was superbly prepared. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good Indian food. Samosas were out of this world
