Bastardized and overpriced for the western taste.

Updated Review:
I’ve dined in here a few times recently and was not being led down. The food is flavorful, and the noodles are nicely cooked.

Previous Experience (Takeout):
I wasn’t happy with my takeout order in the past. The noodles weren’t properly cooked, and the dough was sticking together, likely during the cooking stage.

The service at Jinya locations is usually great, but this location was off. The man that I’m assuming is the manager came off as cold, and the other staff, while friendly, seemed lackadaisical in attending to my group.
The atmosphere could have been a bit better; They were playing rave music at 6pm on a Sunday.
Otherwise, the food was great, as usual.

The kitchen needs to figure out quality control. I bit into a very raw piece of chicken. So disgusting.

We came in for fathers day and the servers were wonderful and food was even better. No wait time at all and the host saved us a booth.

Food portion are ah-okkk ... not that great for the price point but not that bad either . The broth lacked richness.. the ramen had good flavour but lacked normal complimentary toppings . The matcha tiramisu was good but tasted stale and very watery... the portion was extremely small for the price point . The service was nice and the ambiance was also pleasant .

Really like the aburi salmon

Ordered the Tonkotsu Black and the broth was flavorless... it was basically just hot water. Needless to say, it was the the blandest ramen I've ever eaten.

Decent Japanese ramen & bar on Broadway.

Since their Robson location, their interior design atmosphere has always been great, vibrant & modern. Once again, this location's interior finishing is top notch, which makes the food more enjoyable. With loud music & talking, I think it is more suitable for people to hang out, less ideal for a family with kids.

The ramen I got, tangy shirmp cilantro? is alright, and I would rather get one of the originals, which you cant go wrong with.

New location, same great food and service. Went here right when they opened and got to be the first one to order the Premium Tonkotsu Red level 10 at the new location. My absolute favourite. Have been back several times since.

Parking: Underground parking on the East side of Fir.

I, not the restaurant, had made a mistake today . I won't go into the details, but was very pleased with how they reacted to an error that I had made in doing an UE order. I ordered two tonkotsu blacks and liked how they separated out the seaweed and fresh garlic from the noodles. The flavor of the broth was great as well. I highly recommend and will go back often.

I ordered ramen and it tasted pretty good. One noodle dish was a bit too spicy, but I didn't notice it when I was ordering. I also really like the murals on the wall, which match the scenery of the restaurant.

The food is over saltedl. The service is just as salty. Its like a japanese cactus club chain restaurant with a club vibe. Go there if you like loud music and mellennial staff with an attitude. The hot sake didnt arrive very hot and quickly cooled off. For the price of dinner, i could have dined at garys (micheline mentioned with attentive, considerate staff and Incredibly delicious food). I am leaving this feedback so improvements can be made. The cold sake is worth a try! I left dissappointed in this experience.

New japanese restaurant in the neighborhood, which i was waiting for the opening, finally I could visit it with my husband. We ordered the combo of wonton chicken ramen plus pork chashu bowl and salad, and another one similar but with pork gyoza and salad, everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. I especially loved the ramen and the pork bowl. Unfortunately, our waiter forgot our iced teas and brought them almost at the end of our meal. I am wondering to try the baos, maybe next time.
