I’ve gone here two days in a row and I love JJ Bean. But this location the employees don’t acknowledge you with a smile, or say thank you. Basic customer service skills are needed here. Also, I get an iced latte with honey and always ask for it to be mixed in with the espresso to make sure the honey doesn’t clump at the bottom of the cold milk. A favourite hang out and meet-up spot on Cambie. In the summer they have their doors open and let the music in. Coffee is always amazing. They care so much about coffee that even their decaf tastes good! They recently started selling doughnuts as well.
Although this coffee shop is a bit simple, it really has a nice vibe. I absolutely love the wide selection of vegan options (muffins!!) and the drinks are very nice. We ordered London fog with soy and hot chocolate with oat milk and both were totally delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely would return.
